"Thanks for the ride." Jisung mumbled. Jisung had already sent the other two inside leaving him and Minho alone in his car.

"How come you don't go to school with them? If you don't mind me asking." Minho could tell Jisung contemplated if he should respond.

"I got kicked out of that school...I...uh...I blew up the science lab last year then got homeschooled for about a year, realised I wasn't learning and found a different school." Minho nodded, though his face held lifted eyebrows and wide eyes.

"That explains being the new kid a quarter way through the year," Minho nervously laughed. Jisung shrugged.

"Anyways, I'll see you at school." Jisung got out of the car, ready for Minho to drive off but before he could Nijoo came running out yelling for him to wait.

Jisung gave her a concerned look, however, Nijoo ran straight passed him and up to Minho's car window. Minho winded the window down and looked at the girl.

"You're invited to my play. Tomorrow, it's at night time so you have to ask your mum for permission, but you have to go!" Minho couldn't help but smile at the hand drawn invitation that Nijoo had clearly gone in and done while him and Jisung were talking.

"How can I say no?" He laughed.

"By saying no." Jisung replied. Nijoo gave him a push, causing him to stumble to the side. Jisung stood offended by the little scamp who'd pushed him so hard.

"I'll be there." Minho reached down and ruffled her hair before winding up the window and driving away. Jisung just watched as she skipped back inside.

The next day at school, Jisung avoided Minho. He made sure to stay behind a building where Minho wouldn't find him. Luckily enough, Minho didn't talk to him at all.

Jisung got home, one of those days where he needed to go to the cemetery, but he couldn't. He couldn't risk not ever seeing her again. So, he just took a deep breath and got ready for Nijoo's play.

The three walked to the school. Jisung and Soowon found their seats in the auditorium.

"Okay, good luck!" Jisung patted Nijoo's shoulder before watching her run up to get ready.

Jisung glanced at the empty seat beside him, reminded of the unfortunate invite. He doubted the other would even show up, why would he?

Just as the curtains opened Jisung saw Minho run in and sit beside him.

"Did I miss anything?" Minho whispered. Jisung just looked at him with his mouth agape. Jisung slowly shook his head, still looking at the boy. He actually showed up.

"You know, you didn't actually have to come." Jisung reassured him.

"I know." Minho smiled. Jisung blinked a few times before focusing back on the play. They watched as Nijoo danced around with her princess dress on, acting her heart out. Jisung tried to keep his full attention on the play but, quick glances to the boy beside him and the sheer shock still lingering in his thoughts, proved it a difficult task.

After the play finished, the three waited for Nijoo to meet them. Finally she ran out looking like her usual self, her large flowy gown and princess tiara, absent from her appearance.

"Did you like it? Did you like it? Did you like it?" She pulled Jisung's shirt over and over, unable to control herself.

"I loved it." Jisung assured her. "We all did. You're like a celebrity!" Nijoo was giggly, jumping around with adrenaline.
