~< lonely eyes - the front bottoms >~
Jisung walked up to Minho outside the building, the next morning at school. He stood about a metre infront of him. Minho didn't bother speak, instead waiting for the other to do so.Jisung mumbled something under his breath with his eyes glued to the grass.
"What was that?" Minho hassled him.
"I said I'm sorry," Jisung said again, slightly louder. Minho smirked.
"I must have bad hearing, one more time?" Minho held up his ear to Jisung with a smirk.
"I said I'm sorry okay! God, you're annoying." Jisung huffed, crossing his arms.
"Fine. I'll forgive you...if you see a movie with me on Saturday." Minho lifted his eyebrows, his eyes frozen open. Jisung tapped his foot, his arms still tightly crossed as he bit his lip.
"Fine!" He finally shouted. Jisung then walked off to class, quietly cursing to himself.
Saturday was here. Jisung stood in front of the mirror in his bathroom. In the corner of his eye he spotted a red thread lying on the tile. A piece of string that had fallen from his sweat shirt yesterday. He stared at the string for awhile before he looked at his fingers. He traced the indents of his fingers, where he one day hoped a string would appear. It was hopeless, yet it was the only thing left he had hope for.
"What do I have to do?" He asked himself. He shoved his hands down on the sink as he stared at himself in the mirror. Nothing, he thought. He slid his fingers through his dark hair with a long breath. It wasn't the time for self-pity.
Jisung flew down the stairs after hearing the honk of Minho's car from outside. He reached for the front door when the old lady got in his way.
"Where are you going?" Eunsah's shrill voice made Jisung's spine twitch.
"Movies." Jisung tried to push passed her but she wouldn't budge, not for a second.
"Sorry, not happening. You didn't even let me know!" She yelled at him. Jisung's hands curled up, his nails digging into his palms, his balled up fist tapped against the side of his thigh as he looked around for a reply.
"Eunsah! Nijoo fell down the stairs!" Jisung turned his head to see Soowon standing at the bottom of the stairs. His face went pale at the sight, before Soowon shot him a wink. Relief rushed to his heart, his features flushed with colour again. He mouthed a 'thank you' and sped out the door while Eunsah was distracted.
Jisung ran to the passenger side and jumped in, startling Minho.
"Go! Drive! Drive!" Jisung ordered, slapping the dash board. Minho didn't have time to think and immediately did as told, driving off. Jisung let out a breath of relief.
"What was all that?" Minho chuckled.
"Eunsah wouldn't let me go, so Soowon distracted her and I just ran." Jisung laughed. "I'm gonna be in so much shit when I get back." Minho smiled.
They reached the movie theatre and Minho jogged over to Jisung's door and let him out.
"I can do that myself, you know," Jisung reminded him. Minho just shrugged it off before the two walked together into the theatre.
They argued for a good ten minutes about what to watch before finally settling on a Disney movie that had just come out. The movies were packed but they were lucky enough to get seats beside each other somewhere in the back few rows.
