Jisung hopped into the passenger seat of Minho's car that Friday afternoon. Minho turned to him.
"So, where are we going?" Jisung bit his lip. He typed the address into Minho's gps and gave him a short smile. Minho shrugged and started driving, no questions asked.
It was mostly silent the whole way there as Jisung was too nervous and distracted by his own thoughts that he didn't even think to strike up conversation. Minho on the other hand could see the look Jisung wore, that dreadfully lost-in-thought look. He was scared to break him from it.
Soon, Minho pulled up. He looked around, was this the right place? The cemetery?
Jisung wiped his hands on his jeans to clear them of sweat as he took a few deep breaths and Minho just observed him.
"Hey, are you okay? You look sick," Minho said, his hand going up to Jisung's forehead as his eyes fell soft.
"No, no, I'm okay I just didn't get much sleep last night." Jisung stuttered out, his head pounding.
"Jisung, I was texting you last night, you were out by eleven." Minho reminded him, becoming more worried.
"No, I know that, I meant I just didn't eat much." Minho's hands rested shakily on the steering wheel. Something was wrong with Jisung but he couldn't figure out what.
"What you wanted to show me, maybe you can show me another time. You really don't look well." Minho turned, resting his hand on Jisung's shoulder.
"No!" Minho's hand flinched off Jisung's shoulder slightly. Jisung didn't let it go unnoticed. "I'm sorry, I just, I want to do this, I just-" Suddenly tears were washing down Jisung's face. Minho's eyes went wide, quickly moving closer to Jisung to put his arms around him.
"Woah, Jisung, what's going on?" Minho pushed Jisung's hair out of his face, his fingers sliding against Jisung's skin. Jisung sniffled, attempting to compose himself.
He hopped out of the car, quickly followed by Minho. Minho ran around the other side of the car as to help Jisung, given his state.
Jisung stared at the large gate. The gate he recognised as his front door. He came here every week. He was here only three days ago, yet it felt like he'd never been here before. Jisung swallowed, looking to Minho. It was different now that he was here.
Jisung looked down at Minho's hand as he reached out and slipped his hand into his. Minho watched carefully, trying not to say anything to scare Jisung. He squeezed Jisung's hand a little. Jisung wiped his face with his other sleeve and walked through the gate, holding onto Minho's hand.
They walked passed a few of the graves before Jisung stopped at one in particular.
Minho looked down at the grave reading the name. His mouth fell open. His whole body turned to Jisung, his hand accidentally slipping from Jisung's. But it was shortly replaced with his embrace.
Minho's eyes were wide as his breaths were thin. His sister's grave. He was standing on top of his sister's grave.
"Jisung..." was all he could whisper out. Jisung gently pushed out of the hug.
"Minho, this is Jiwon. Jiwon, this is Minho, the guy I've been telling you about." Jisung gestured to Minho and then the grave. Minho looked between Jisung and the stone.
"I-um," Minho cleared his throat. He bent down and rested on his knees, lowering his head and resting his eyes closed for a moment.
Jisung sat down beside him, the grass was still wet but he didn't care. When Minho lifted his head again he reached beside him and grabbed Jisung's hand again. Jisung happily took it, letting his head fall to rest on Minho's side.
