problems with relationships i don't understand and hopefully never will

So ayo so I got questions

•why date / marry someone you hate with a full pledged passion

I see people on Facebook talk about how much they hate their significant other and my grandparents hate each other I just don't understand why stay with each other but maybe it's just me

•why aren't people honest

If you don't wanna go say you don't wanna go I guess I sorta understand this one I'm a scared cat though and other stuff unrelated to this
