Drista left Snow Chester and went back towards the mountains. She wasn't certain where she was going, she just had the urge to flee. The young slayer didn't bother to stay around, to find out if Skeppy was dead.
She pushed past the wind and snow for as long as she could. Once she reached the entrance to the Ryoko village, she sat in the snow. Letting it attack her face all it wanted. Her cheeks were bright red, as well as her nose. "I-I'm a murderer...if I didn't demand the blood...it wouldn't of happened." Drista sniffled "but Lani...I can't give up on her." She cried out of frustration.
She must have been close enough for the dragon to hear. Either that, or it just felt her sorrowful presence.
Ryoko came down from her mountainside cave. Flying down to the village entrance.
Drista heard her wings flapping, and instinctively flinched. Then when she looked up she felt comforted. "Oh, uh." Drista wiped her eyes and tried to look at her, but the snow kept pelting her in the face.
Ryoko landed then shielded the girl from the snow with her wings. As if she was a baby dragon that needed care.
"Thanks!" Drista took a couple deep breaths. It was intimidating to have a dragon that close.
The dragon looked at her with sadness. Drista had never seen a dragon be able to portray emotion before.
"Are you alright?"
The dragon let out a little roar, followed by what sounded like a sigh.
"Tell me about it..." Drista acted like she knew what the dragon was saying. "I'm scared...I might lose my best friend if I don't get home." She told the dragon everything, assuming it couldn't understand.
The dragon sympathized with the girl. Understanding that she was sad.
"I don't suppose you can bring me home, can you?" Drista asked sarcastically.
The dragon reached out and picked Drista up by her coat. Drista's first instinct was to scream, but she wasn't in danger. The dragon started to walk to Snow Chester. With Drista in her mouth delicately, like a puppy.
Drista couldn't believe this was happening, but she had no choice but to deal with it. The friendly dragon walked her all the way to the inn.
"This definitely isn't my home..." Drista huffed.
Ryoko gently put Drista down, and roared urgently at the inn. She seemed to need something, or rather someone.
Puffy came to the door, shocked to see the ice dragon. "What are you doing here?" She looked down to Drista. "There you are, what happened?"
"I..." She sighed. "I ran off, it's just one of my things. The dragon literally dragged me back here."
Puffy looked at the dragon. "What do you need big girl? Thanks for bringing back Drista...though I doubt that's why you're here."
Drista stepped inside and stood behind Puffy. She was trying to feel some warmth from the building.
"You know...I think she can sense Skeppy. Though she never made an effort to come down here before."
The dragon sniffed the air, putting her nose through the door slightly. She knew an ice guardian was in there.
"Sorry Ryoko, he can't come see you right now. He's not doing so good. You're welcome to wait until tomorrow." Puffy smiled at the dragon.

Puffy took Drista inside to get toasty. She let the dragon take a nap outside until Skeppy was stable again.
