Drista crawled onto the dragon's back. "This doesn't feel safe, in the slightest."
"She's right..." Bad frowned. He didn't want her to get hurt.
"She'll be gentle." Skeppy assured them. "Stay close to the ground Ryoko, incase she falls." He instructed the dragon.
The dragon understood everything he said. She was given the directions she needed to take to get Drista home.
"Shit...this feels like a dream" Drista took a deep breath and ran her hand on the dragon's skin. "You're smooth for a dragon..."
Puffy smiled "well, you girls better be on your way. I hope to see you again someday."
"Yeah! You are welcome to stay at the inn whenever you want. I wish you the best." Bad was a generous man.
"Yeah, just don't take anymore of my blood." Skeppy mumbled bitterly, leaning on Bad for support.
"You will, thank you, and I won't." She answered each of them.
"Alright...go ahead Ryoko." Skeppy gave the dragon permission to leave.
The dragon flapped it's wings and made it into the air.
Drista covered her mouth so she didn't scream like a coward.
The dragon flew low to the ground. She kept her speed reasonable, so she didn't launch Drista miles away.
Drista kept her balance to the best of her abilities. She kept looking straight ahead. Knowing that would affect her balance. "This is so cool..." She whispered. "I bet Dream has never done this..."
She started to think about her family. By now they had to of been worried sick. At least Dream was. He cared about her the most.
After what seemed like no time at all, she was outside her kingdom. She wondered how fast the dragon was really going.
The ice dragon landed, while Drista tried to hold on.
She ended up sliding off and tumbling. Thankfully she wasn't injured. "Ow, work on your landing."
Ryoko apologized with a little roar. She sniffed Drista, to make sure she was okay.
"Okay...you need to go now. People around here don't treat dragons with kindness." Drista shooed the dragon home, feeling confident that she would find her way back.
The dragon nuzzled Drista, nearly knocking her over. Then the mystical creature set off on it's flight back home.
"Fuck...that just happened." Drista smiled wide, soaking in the encounter. Then she remembered why she was here. "Shit, Lani!"
Drista ran into the middle of town, almost forgetting where she was going. She moved quickly, not wanting to be seen by a family member. They'd definitely have a mouth full of scolding for her.
The determined hero made it to Techno's house. She wondered if Lani was still there, but she didn't have to do so for long. Lani's brother was outside, clearly trying to compose himself. Drista's heart dropped to the ground and shattered.
Tubbo looked up, recognizing the girl. Also recognizing that she had been missing for days. "Drista?"
"I-is she still alive?" Drista had only one objective right now.
"Lani?"
"Are you stupid?"
"...yeah, she's holding on."
"Fu- okay!" Drista ran in, slamming the door.
Techno assumed it was Tubbo coming back inside. "Tubbo, I think it's time...you should probably come say goodbye."
