Chapter 23

Brads P.O.V

She said yes! She actually said yes!

I can't even describe how scared I was, it was a risky move but it payed off. I'm currently stood under the tree and the fairy lights with Jess, smiling like complete dorks.

"You really did this all for me?" Jess asks.

"Anything for my princess" I kiss her on the cheek gently and as she smiles she blushes slightly.

"Come on, let's go, I've got another surprise for you!" I smile as I hold Jess' hand gently and we walk towards the building.

Jess P.O.V

Brad has put so much effort into this evening, to say I'm happy is an understatement. He's proposed to me and he still managed to come up with another surprise.

As me and Brad walk hand in hand up the steps of the familiar building, I can't help but continue to smile. As the door opens, we are met with all of our families and friends. I notice my parents also in the building. I thought they were on holiday?

"Congratulations!" They all shout as they release the party poppers.

I shed a tear as I realise that this is all for me and Brad. I let go of Brads hand and run over to my parents engulfing them in a bone crushing hug. I begin to make a fool of myself as I cry on my mothers shoulder.

"Surprise honey!" My Mum speaks.

"I thought you were on holiday?" I ask, confused.

"Well when Brad called us, we had to come home!" My Dad spoke smiling.

"Brad did this for me?" I question.

"Yes I did, like I said, anything for my princess!" I turn around and pull Brad into a hug, he just kisses my forehead to try and stop me from crying.

As Brad pulls away he asks, "Why are you crying?" He begins to wipe away the tears that have spilled down my cheeks.

"They're happy tears." I chuckle.

Our moment is interrupted as we are brought into a group hug with the remainder of The Vamps.

"Congratulations guys, we're so happy for you!" Connor practically shouts.

"OTP!" Tris shouts, which causes us to all chuckle.

"I need a drink!" Brad says laughing.

As I go to follow Brad, James pulls me to the side.

"I'm sorry for trying to take you away from Brad, I don't know what I was thinking. You guys are perfect. I'm so sorry." He speaks.

"Don't be sorry, it's fine. Everything's fine now, we sorted this out ages ago. Friends?" I reply.

"Thank you" James says as he pulls me in for a hug.

"For what, I haven't done anything?" I laugh.

"For forgiving me, you're a great girl Jess. I really hope you and Brad are happy. I can't think of two people that deserve happiness more than you guys."

I smile as me and James go to join the others by the bar.

As I go to get a drink I feel a pair of hands on my waist and Brads head on my left shoulder. And how could I tell? The curls of course.

"Hello future wifey" Brad smiles.

"Hello future hubby" I chuckle as I mimic Brads voice.

"I can't tell you how scared I was, I thought you were gonna say no!" He chuckles.

"I would never have said no in a million years." I reply.

"I can't wait to marry you." Brad smirks as he leans in to kiss me.

As Brad tries to deepen the kiss I break it, staring into his lustful eyes. "Not here" I wink as I grab Brads hands and lead him away from everyone.
