Chapter 22

Brads P.O.V

It has now been a few weeks since Jess came out of hospital, the thought of proposing still hasn't left my mind, is it too soon? What if she rejected me?

For gods sake a Brad, man up!

My thoughts are interrupted as Jess enters my room. Jess is staying at mine as me and the boys have a few weeks off, due to it nearly being Christmas. Jess' parents are away again and my parents were more than happy for her to stay with us.

"Hello, love." I speak as Jess smiles.

"Long time no see!" Jess chuckles.

Jess is honestly stunning, her hair has grown so much the last year, it's nearly down to her hips. Her beautiful blue eyes remind me of the Tenerife Sea, always sparkling, she's always smiling.

"Brad, hello? You've been staring at me for the past five minutes!" Jess distracts me from my thoughts.

"I know I'm clearly so attractive but no need to stare!" Jess winks.

Not being able to take anymore, I jump up from my bed, running over to Jess as I pick her up, holding her up by her thighs. I kiss her, we both smile into the kiss as it gets more heated. Our heated moment is interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Hello?"

"What's going on in there?"

"BRAD I NEED SOME TRADLEY TIME I MISS YOU!"

I just about have enough time to put Jess down before the boys run in through the door. I was not expecting this!

"What are you guys doing here!" I practically shout as I am engulfed into a group hug.

"We've come to see our Bradley before Christmas!" Tristan says excitedly.

"What about me!" That's when they notice Jess awkwardly stood to the side with her arms crossed.

"JESS!" They all scream in unison as they all engulf her into a hug.

"Now really guys, what are you doing here?" Jess asks.

"Hasn't Brad told you?" James asks, which earns a confused look from Jess.

"Me and you, and the boys are going to Devon for a weekend away, oh and my family of course." I smile.

"When?" Jess asks excitedly.

"Tomorrow..." I reply.

"OHMYGOD I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH, I GET TO SEE MY OTHER FRIENDS BEFORE CHRISTMAS NOW TOO!" By this point Jess runs and engulfs me in a hug.

"Let's get packing then!" I smile, leaving a kiss on Jess' forehead.

*NEXT DAY* (still Brads P.O.V)

We are all now currently on our way to Devon. I can't wait to surprise Jess this evening. The boys all made their own way down leaving me, Jess and my family in our car.

"So what are the plans for today then?" Jess asks.

"Well me and Nat were gonna take you shopping, that's only if you're up for it of course." Anne turns around a smiling.

"That sounds lovely!" Jess replies.

"We're here guys!" Derek says as he pulls up on Jess' driveway. She agreed to let us all stay in her home seen as her parents are away, I'm sure they wouldn't notice...let alone mind!

Whilst Jess is upstairs getting ready to go out with my mother and sister my mum pulls me aside.

"Have you got everything you need?" She asks.
