Chapter 6

Brads P.O.V

I woke up to a bright white flash, I opened my eyes to see everyone in front of me. I looked down to see Jess snuggled up close to me, she does look really cute.

Me and the boys were due to go home today but we checked with management and they said we can spend an extra week here but then we tour the country. Don't get me wrong I'm excited about it, it's a dream come true but it involves leaving Jess behind in Devon, I really want her to be there with us all. - Stop it Brad! you're not even dating the girl!

"Guys stop with the photos, Jess is still asleep!" I said as I begged for the flashing of everyone's phone cameras to stop. "Aww little Braddy bear protecting his little Jessiekins!" Tristan teased. "Shut up Tristan, you clearly like Amie!" I replied, I looked at Amie to see that she was blushing, maybe she likes Tristan back? Cute.

I then looked down at Jess and watched her sleep for a few seconds, she then woke up. As she looked up she smiled at me, I smiled back.

I've only known Jess for a few weeks but I really like her. The boys know I like her and they like the other girls too, a Tristan likes Amie, James is head over heels for Becky and Connor is crazy about Dee, and me, well I've completely fallen for Jess. The truth is I'm scared to ask her to go on a date with me, mainly because I'm scared of being rejected and then ruining our friendship. But the kissed we shared last night was amazing, it's given me the confidence to ask her on a date, I felt sparks, I can't describe it. Now I just need to find the right time to ask her, hopefully it will be soon.

"Guys can we play a game!" Tristan begged. "Fine!" Connor moaned. "Let's play hide and seek!" I suggested, everyone seemed to agree. "Jess can count!" James shouted, "Why always me!" Jess complained. "Okay guys, the kitchen and outside is out of bounds, let's go!" I said. Everyone ran to hide as Jess counted to 50.

I had a plan, and I hope it is going to work, I decided to hide behind the sofa whilst everyone else ran to hide upstairs. I heard Jess shout, "Fifty!" As she removed her hands from her eyes I heard her feet walk towards the sofa I was hiding behind. I then saw her notice me, I then quickly put my index finger to my lips, signalling Jess to stay quiet. I then stood up, took Jess' hand and walked into the garden. "Why have you dragged me out here?" Jess chuckled as she stood in front of me. "Okay Jess I'm just gonna ask you straight." I replied, a hint of seriousness in my tone. "Ask me what?" Jess gave me a puzzled look. "Jess will you go on a date with me?" I asked, looking at her directly in the eyes. "What, me? Brad you can have any girl you want!" She chuckled. "Jess, no other girl can compare to you, you're everything I've ever wanted and more." I replied, she then looked at the floor and blushed, "Well, Mr Simpson, it would be my pleasure to go on a date with you!" She spoke. We looked into each others eyes and we both smiled. I leaned in and Jess then put her finger on my lips, I gave her puppy eyes as she spoke, "Save it for the date! Now let's go and find the others!" She said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me back into the house.

Me and Jess then began to look for the others, no one was downstairs. We then walked upstairs quietly. We first walked into Tristan's room, Amie was hidden in his wardrobe and Tristan was under his bed. Now we had found them we continued through the hallway and we found James behind the bookshelf, we then found Becky in the airing cupboard. Now we just needed to find Dee and Connor.

We checked every room but we couldn't find them, we then walked into Tristan's parents room and walked around to the other side of the bed to find Dee and Connor on the floor kissing. James awkwardly coughed and they pulled apart, Dee went a bright shade of red and Connor laughed. "Sorry." He spoke In between laughs.

We all then went and sat back downstairs, James gave me a nod to suggest we can tell the girls the news.

"Okay, girls we need to talk to you." James said getting everyone's attention. "Basically, our management said that we can spend another week here in Devon with you guys!" Connor spoke happily. The girls smiled, as they were clearly happy. "But, next week we go on tour around the country, and then we have to go back home for a week." I spoke with disappointment. The girls facial expressions turned from happy to gutted.

"Well we'll have to make the next week the best ever then!" Jess said as she gave me a comforting smile.

Jess' P.O.V

Me and the girls had to pretend to look gutted when the boys told us the news. Me and the girls are going to surprise them and show up to their second shows meet and greet in London, we rang up their management and they gave us permission to do so.

I still can't believe Brad asked me out on a date, he could probably get any girl he wanted, but he chose me! I just hope the date goes well.

"Okay guys, tomorrow evening we will go to Nandos." Connor spoke, "Guys me and Jess can't make tomorrow." Brad spoke up, "Why?" Becky asked as she looked at me. "You're such a nosey bunch!" I laughed, "Use protection!" Dee and Amie spoke at the same time. "Guys we're only going on a date!" I laughed, then I realised what I'd said. "You're what?!" Tristan asked shocked.

"We're, as in me and Jess, are going on a date." Brad spoke as he took my hand.
