Jess' P.O.V
Today is the day I'm meeting Brads family for the first time. It was a mixture of excitement and nervousness. What if they don't approve of me?
"Brad...wake up." I spoke as I shook Brad gently.
Nothing.
"Don't be so lazy!" I continued, getting slightly annoyed by this point.
He turned over.
"GET UP YOU LAZY SLOB!" I shouted as I proceeded to attempt to pull the duvet from Brad. Which failed as he was stronger and as a result of this ended up with me being pulled back onto the bed.
Brad spoke as he pulled me close to him "You're cute when you're angry."
"Shut up."
I instantly regret my previous phrase as I am now in fits of giggles trying to breathe as Brad was tickling me.
"Wanna say that again, huh? Huh? HUH?" He spoke as he continued to tickle me, a devilish smile plastered across his face.
"B-Brad s-stop." I try to stutter in between my laughter and lack of breath.
"Say sorry." He replied.
"No." I spoke.
Brad chuckled to my response. "You see, this is why I love you, you never seem to give up. But seriously...say sorry." He spoke, still tickling me.
"I-I'm s-s-sorry." I stutter once again. Brad finally stops tickling me. But as I go to get up, I'm blinded as Brad throws the duvet back over me. Moving around I'm faced with a playful Bradley by my side with a cheeky smile plastered across his face.
"Brad, we seriously don't have time for this. Maybe after we've been to Birmingham yeah?" I speak as Brad finally gives in, letting me get out.
"Spoil sport." He replies with puppy eyes and a pout.
I chuckle as I approach Brad, leaving a sweet kiss on his lips. "Patience is a virtue."

An hour later me and Brad were finally ready to go to Birmingham. The car was fully packed and Brad started the ignition. I started to shake slightly as the reality sunk in. I looked out of the window, in an attempt to go unnoticed. I twitched slightly as I felt a hand on my thigh. "Everything is gonna be okay, I'm sure they'll love you. Not as much as me...obviously." Brad winked. I smiled as Brad kissed my cheek softly.
Birmingham here we come.
~
After three and a half long hours of traffic, and three albums, we had finally arrived in Birmingham. I started to feel less nervous and more excited.
We had pulled up outside of Brads house and it looked huge and so nice. This excited me even more.
"Let's go!" Brad spoke as he turned off the ignition and opened his door running around to the boot. We then proceeded to haul our two suitcases and backpacks from the boot.
As we closed the boot to Brads car he grabbed my hand and squeezed it gently as he gave me a comforting smile. I returned the smile as we walked up to the house. As we were walking up to the house I noticed a figure in the window peer through the window. "That's my mum." Brad chuckled.
Brad opened the door and I followed him in. As soon as I entered the house I was faced with Brads family. I then heard a light sound coming closer, a few seconds later Jesse (Brads dog,) appeared. Completely ignoring his parents Brad dropped his bags and ran straight to Jesse, stroking her which caused the golden retriever to get very excited. It was cute to watch.
I was interrupted as I was engulfed into a hug. "So you're Jess? Whenever I've spoken to Brad on the phone you're all he seems to talk about!" His mothers words bring a smile to my face, although she can't see. "Anyway, I'm Brads mum, call me Anne." She continues.
"I'm Derek, Brads dad." He speaks as he gives me a quick hug.
"Hey Jess! I'm Nat, I'm Brads sister!" She speaks kindly as she also gives me a hug.
My chats with Brads family were interrupted as Brad shouted from the kitchen. "Nevermind meeting them, come and meet Jesse!" Nat moves out of the way of the doorway to the kitchen. "Good luck." She chuckles as I walk past, patting my back as I pass.
"This is Jesse!" Brad speaks enthusiastically.
"Brad, I know." I laugh as I walk over to stroke Jesse gently.
"See, even Jesse approves of you and loves you!" Brad speaks as he stands up. I giggle quietly.
"But she'll never love you as much as I do, no one will." He continues. I then stand up too and walk towards him. He looks deeply into my eyes and we smile. "Ditto." I chuckle. I give Brad a quick kiss on the lips before I pull away.
"Come on, let's go and see your family!" I speak as I pull Brad's hand taking him to the lounge with me. I stop just before the door as we can both hear their conversations.
"So do you think she's the one?" I hear Natalie ask her parents.
"You know what, I think if you give it a few years, she'll be Mrs Simpson." I hear Anne reply.
"She's the one." I hear Derek speak.
"I can see the way they look at each other. That girl is going to marry our Bradley, I'm telling you." He continues.
Brad looks down at me smiling. My back is against the wall. I smile as Brad gently moves a strand of my hair from in front of my face to behind my ear. He kisses me slowly but passionately; we both smile into the kiss. Seconds later he pulls away and whispers into my ear,
"They're right, you are the one." Brad whispers as he bites his lip.
Not breaking eye contact we smile as I stay stood with my back against the wall. Brad has one hand on my hip and the other is on the wall that I'm leaning against.
"We should really go see your parents now." I smile as I pull Brad into the lounge.
