Kion kept running, his heart racing. Fuli was on his tail, but he couldn't look back. He kept running and running towards Pride Rock.

It was time.

Blood roared in his ears as he ran. The thought of blood clouded his thoughts. He ran closer and closer to Pride Rock.

When he arrived, he crouched down low. He knew Simba would come out of Pride Rock to sunbathe at this time of day. He hid behind a rock, waiting.

Then, he saw Simba emerge from the opening in the rock. He bunched his shoulders, waiting for the right moment.

Simba looked unsuspecting, and when the moment was just right....

"SIMBA!" Kion roared and jumped on his father.

In a second it all had turned into a fight, but Simba had Kion on the ground in a couple of seconds.

"I don't know what the fuck you're thinking, Kion, but you're fucking dead."

"Yeah? Then kill me." Kion growled.

At this point the Lion Guard had caught up with Kion.

"The King, Kion, what the fuck is going on here?" Ono asked.

"This piece of shit attacked me." Simba growled.

"Kion? Is that true?" Fuli asked.

Kion managed to do something that was similar to a nod, he wasn't gonna lie to Fuli, after all, what good would it do? He already knew it was a rhetorical question. Fuli already knew that he was gonna kill Simba.

"You fucking phsyco." Bunga snapped but he got a death glare from Fuli.

"Simb... Uhh, I mean The King, please let him go, I know he attacked you but can you really blame him?" Fuli said softly.

"What's in it for me if I let him live?" Simba asked.

"Because if you kill him, I'll leave the Lion Guard and the Pridelands and never come back. And if I leave the Guard, it's gonna become very weak, so for the Pridelands' safety, let him go," Fuli growled.

"Ugh... Fine, on one condition, Kion, we can't have this kind of violence in The Pridelands, I'll let you live if you get the fuck away from here and doesn't return, the choice is yours." Simba said.

"Fine, I'll leave." Kion growled.

Simba got off him.

Kion got up and looked at his friends, Ono, Bunga and Beshte looked like Kion all of a sudden was their worst enemy.

"Kion, please don't leave." Fuli said.

Kion just stood there, he couldn't move, he couldn't answer.

"Kion? Kion, please don't ignore me."

Kion turned to her. "Will you come with me?"

"Well, now that I've already saved your life by saying I will stay in the Lion Guard, I don't have that much of a choice, I'm sorry." Fuli looked at the ground, she couldn't meet his eyes telling him that.

An aura of disbelief surrounded Kion. Now he was truly leaving everything he had.

"No, it's okay, Fuli. I mean, why not follow your boyfriend who doesn't have anything left? Why not join the enemy's side? Why not..." Kion got interrupted by Simba.

"We get your point, Kion. Perhaps Fuli has learned that you're not good for her, not good for anyone in fact," Simba growled, making Kion flinch.

Kion couldn't reply. He looked at the ground, sighing. Hot tears began to stream down his cheeks. "Goodbye everyone," he hissed bitterly, choking on his tears.
