Landon left Hope and Lizzie's apartment early in the morning before Lizzie would wake up. Hope was happy, truly happy. She prepared breakfast tea and coffee for Lizzie.

"Good morning Lizzie." Hope greeted Lizzie cheerfully as she entered the kitchen, although she immediately noticed her grumpy mood, not even the sight of food seemed to cheer her up.

"Morning." Lizzie replied and sat at the kitchen table.

"Did you have a bad night? Are you okay?" Hope asked her concerned.

"I dunno... didn't sleep much." She replied and Hope sat next to her with a concerned look on her face. "I think I screwed up." Lizzie said as her eyes started to fill with tears and that's when Hope noticed her tearstained red cheeks and puffy eyes. She must have been really upset all night. Hope felt a little guilty that she wasn't checking up on her the previous night when she heard her coming home.

"What's going on?" Hope asked in a worried tone as she reached for her hand on the table and squeezed it lightly.

"I did something stupid... you gonna hate me too." Lizzie cried.

"I won't hate you Lizzie, just tell me that you are all right, please."

"I got Penelope's number from your phone without your permission and I kinda texted her that I know who her soulmate is... she then called me back and I told her that you gave me her number and that my sister was her soulmate... She is coming here Hope to meet with Josie... but when I told Jo, she was so pissed at me that she left town and I have no idea where she went. She doesn't answer my calls... I'm so worried about her." Lizzie sobbed. Sure, Hope already knew that and she was planning to get mad at Lizzie but she was already miserable enough, Hope felt awful for her.

"I'm sure she's fine Liz." Hope hugged the crying girl."She's gonna come around, you'll see." Hope tried to comfort her.

"You're not angry with me?" Lizzie asked when she calmed down and let go of the hug. Hope just shook her head. It was impossible to be mad at her. Hope felt bad for her. Lizzie had no idea why her own twin was pissed at her. Hope had the urge to just tell Lizzie the truth about her fate but she promised Josie to keep her mouth shut.

The rest of Hope's day was a haze. The only thing she could focus on was the constant texting between her and Landon. He was sweet and funny and Hope fell for him even more if that was possible. They were texting about everything, Hope only avoided one subject, Josie... and he didn't mention her either right until Hope suggested to meet that evening and Landon texted back that he needed to talk Josie first. So Josie still didn't take Landon's calls... Hope didn't text Landon back after his message about Josie, she tried to distract her thoughts about her. When Hope returned home after her classes and entered the apartment, a surprising scene was waiting for her.

"Penelope, you are here!" Hope said with shock as she noticed her sitting with Lizzie on the living room couch.

"Yeah, well... and just starting to realize that you guys are messing with me. Are you doing this for the dream? Because I told your dad?" Penelope got up from the couch and walked towards Hope as she spoke. "Look Hope, I promised you I wouldn't tell any compromising shit to your dad. I didn't tell him about your sex dreams and such and I know you are unable to understand this, but I needed the money... I'm sorry, okay? But it doesn't give you the right to lie about knowing my soulmate and making me travel across the country just so you can have a good laugh with blondie here." Penelope snapped at Hope. Hope didn't expect all of this. She was still processing Penelope's words when Lizzie came to her rescue.

"Hey, all I told you that my sister is MIA at the moment. She really does have your stupid mark, no one is messing with you." Lizzie stated firmly while Hope got over her initial shock.
