Pain, cold and the nauseating smell of blood. That's what Hope felt when she regained her consciousness. The arrow was removed from her abdomen but the bleeding wouldn't stop. They must have given her another dose of wolfsbane because she wasn't able to heal herself fast enough. She managed to get into a sitting position although every single movement filled her with pain. She tried to stay strong but the pain seemed to be stronger. She started to cry. She wished her dad was there to save her, but he was nowhere near her and he had no idea Hope was in trouble. She didn't care about her dignity anymore, she just wanted her dad. Hope wondered how long she was in that cell. Her dad would call her in the morning, as always... but he probably wouldn't be suspicious just from one missed call. Perhaps it was morning already, she couldn't see any daylight. Even if her father would be concerned after the missed call it would take hours for him to get to Hope. They would most likely kill her by then. Hope had to gather any strength she had because the only person she could rely on at that moment was herself.

"You're up!" Hope heard Roman's voice. "I hope you're not in the mood for threatening us again." He laughed as he was taking in the sight of Hope sitting on the cell floor. If she looked as awful as she felt any threat from her would sound like a joke to them.

"Where is Alaric Saltzman?" Hope asked but speaking was hard too. She put her hand on her bleeding abdomen while Roman took a deep loud breath.

"That's none of your concern." He said as he walked closer to the cell door, breathing the air in very loudly. "You smell divine." Roman smirked then he unlocked the cell door and stepped inside. He walked to Hope slowly with lust in his eyes. Hope could see his fangs popping out and the dark veins appearing around his eyes. She tried to scoot further away from him but it was no use. She wasn't even able to stand up. When Roman reached her, he grabbed her and pulled her up in a standing position then he pushed her to the stone walls, holding her so tight she could barely breathe. Hope tried to push him away, she cursed and spitted on him to stay away from her. Roman was holding her down with one hand and with the other he brushed away her hair from her shoulder to free her neck completely. He leaned so close to Hope that his whole body was pressed against hers. Every attempt to get herself out of the situation just made Hope weaker. Roman leaned into her neck and inhaled her scent deeply then Hope could feel his sharp fangs ripping into the fine skin on her pulsepoint. She screamed, at least she tried to but only muffled sounds came out of her throat. She was helpless and weak as a vampire was sucking the life out of her. She could feel herself drifting off. She could barely feel the pain anymore. The last thing she remembered was Alaric's voice.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" He said then Hope fell to the ground and darkness took over her once more.

When hope gained consciousness again, she heard Roman and Alaric arguing right beside her. She didn't think she was out for long. She could feel herself heal, the wolfsbane leaving her system. She kept her eyes closed and stayed still on the ground to gather her strength. It was her chance to do something. The magic blocking chains were still on her wrists and unfortunately she wasn't able to do anything about them, but perhaps she could try to take down Roman and Alaric. She just needed to think everything through. But as she realized what the argument was about she knew that she didn't have much time to figure things out.

"I still think you should've let me finish her." Roman's voice said.

"We have to be cautious about it. You want her to come back as a vampire? A hybrid or freaking tribrid or whatever she is?" Alaric yelled back.

"She will come back no matter what. At least we can control the situation and deal with her after she transitioned. I'm sure we will find a way to kill her, if it's really not possible we just lock her up and let her desiccate." Roman replied with a vicious laugh.
