I remember it starting out with me in an outside park. There were people around with families and kids, park stuff. Except these people had feathers and were flying around a bit, maybe Harpies. They were grilling, flying, having a good ol time in the park. I was on this kinda tall hill, a concrete path surrounded the hill. On the top, I was just chilling. Ripping the grass out, picking these little flowers, watching these weird bird people, and just basking in the sun having a relaxing time as I waited for someone. This is why I didn't start rolling down the hill like an amateur, I was waiting for someone and decided to be patient for once. Lucky me, the bird people didn't come up the hill. So I was up there all by my lonesome. That is until I laid on my back feeling something underneath me. I leaned up again and looked behind me curious, thinking it was a soccer ball or something. Nothing was there. So I laid down again. AGAIN something bumpy was there so I leaned up. I stood up to see if that would do anything and looked at my shadow. My shadow was pretty normal except for the fact that there were two things poking out of my back- Wings. This caused me to spin around trying to look at them and in a heap, I fell over and rolled down the hill with my wings turning into a burrito basically. Now being a burrito, I looked down and observed what part of the wings I could see, they were dark brown, looked like owl wings? Like if Owl wings and Eagle wings mixed. They were big, fluffy, LOTS of long feathers, and soon, being stuck in my Wing burrito started to doze at the bottom of the hill. It was nice. I don't know how long I dozed by I "woke" up back on top of the hill, still in a burrito. Tired of being burritoed, I lifted my wings off of me having no idea how to actually move them. I've had wings in dreams before but usually, those are bonkers and I usually "know" how to use them. So this is new. I like it. I leaned up after having slight difficulty moving them off of me. I just sat there looking at them in thought, that's when I tried to move them. Haha jokes on me nothing happened. I stand up now, not noticing how heavy they were or anything because no dream is that realistic. Walking around the top of the hill, I keep waiting and am now paying a bit more attention to the bird people watching them flap around with their arm-wings. I started running and leaped off the hill, not very far but enough, and tried to fly. This failed because I don't even know how to move my wings so I land on my feet falling backwards skidding down the hill on my wings like a sled. I trudge back up the hill to the top. Once I reach up there, there is finally someone up there. Has a cane and everything, realllllly fuzzy but also not, like being dizzy on that teacup ride then stopping it actually seeing clearly before once again spinning around. It's disorienting but it doesn't affect dream me, so it's just actual me being affected. NOW, for once, I stop and ACTUALLY turn around having suspicions of who it may be because I was still in partial lucid control. So, going down the hill away from the suspicious figure (didn't think of his name in the dream, just subconsciously KNEW who it was, good ol Vincent). I reach the bottom of the hill and keep on walking, maybe with sass like: nope, not today. I had the thought of going back home in the dream so that's where I subconsciously started going. Hehe, I extreme "I'm being watched" pressure and I turned around. He was standing on top of the hill staring down at me. Though blurry, I knew he was doing that damn wicked smile. IGNORING him, I turn back around going into the middle of some Harpie family, they invited me for hot dogs. I stayed and ate some hot dogs with them. Still ignoring Mr.Stares. In the midst of some mindless conversation, no idea what was being talked about, I stand back up waving goodbye. Nice bird family. Looking back up at the hill, unwillingly, by the way, I just stare at the hill figure leaning on his cane watching. Then I smiled and waved, heading back up there with no control (real me has lost whatever lucid I had so I watch through a mixture of a first and third person. I hear myself laugh and greet the man, he greets as well I guess tapping the cane once firmly on the ground (probs like FINALLY she's up here now lol). This is when my true height nightmare begins and where dream me has the time of her fucking life. He disappeared from view and feel the "wings" being spread out, then I here "Up you go." I was LAUNCHED IN THE DAMN AIR HIGH UP IN THE CLOUDS. Dream me was laughing and moving her wings, I on the other hand was just watching with fear being this high up, surprised I didn't wake up from this. Dream me doesn't fret and just "free falls" towards the ground thinking about landing on the ground like a cat next to the hill figure. This doesn't happen though because a blast of air from downwards shoots upwards JUST filling the Wings with air, going back up. I hear instructions in my head but it's unclear and gibberish. Dream me understood this gibberish though and actually started to flap her wings, flying. This is trippy because I don't know if she was going fast or doing flips and tricks but god damn was it dizzy. I ended up being "blasted" into third-person view and watched my body just fly through the air with wings. I look at the figure and feel that nice pressure of fear or apprehension in my chest noticing that it's staring right at me. I can't move as we stare at each other. He floats up and, wellll, starts floating up towards me ignoring dream me. I am not having this, I go back into first-person and force control doing a big flap of le wings and blasting away from the park only to end up back at the park. Confused, I stare around, no more bird people are there so I kinda "float" there not using wings looking. I hear a BIG CLACK and wake up from that damn feeling of falling. So I was jolted away and sat up making sure I wasn't in fact falling. Adrenaline kept me awake and I read a book falling back to sleep.
