I'm more lucid in this one in terms of choices. No idea what building I am in. I think I was in a mall with lots of hallways?? Maybe a combination between a high school, college, and mall (I say school because I've been having lots of "back to school" nightmares for the past two weeks). There were lots of people running around in a hurry. They were not really going anywhere but they all had shopping bags and whatnot. Lots of them were tall and had light purple skin that sometimes changed colors like a chameleon. This was the only thing that helped me realize it wasn't a dastardly school dream because usually, it's only me that is running around in a hurry, also, the shopping bags and chameleon people- always normal kids who have no bags in the school dreams, not weird color-y people. Anyways, I was looking for a map. I was lost in this maze of hallways. Though, I did find this cool pavilion being constructed, made out of all glass and wood but the ceiling of it was flat so that was a little lame. I watched it get made and got pretty focused with it because that's my jam. For the life of me, I could not change the ceiling but was able to direct them with what wood I wanted, the window shape, and I sunk the floor in the middle by a couple feet- leaving the outer floor the same so people can sit down near the windows. Time moved realllllly fast during this. Proud of my work, ignoring the ceiling, of course, I waited for them to polish the wooden floors, it was a nice quiet oddly- maybe I accidentally got rid of everybody while nerding out with architecture? I stepped in the middle of the pavilion, looking out the windows. It did not seem weird at the time but, there was nothing outside the windows. Literally, it was just a dull grey. "Hey! Nice work you did here, I'm guessing you're the architect who designed this?" a man suddenly appeared right next to me which startled me. He was well dressed with a vest-coat and had a light-trimmed beard with stylish hair. He was tall as well and his eyes were brown, literally, no pupil, no iris, just brown. Milky brown. Not to sound crazy but folks in my dreams have auras sometimes, some are scary like Vincent, some are creepy, confusing, overall- lots are negative auras. These warn me about certain dream characters so I don't trust them, it's like my brain is training my gut feeling. This guy had a strikingly calm aura and had a little smile on. I got a little flattered I guess, and did the classic 'scratch behind the head and look off while grinning and shrugging' movement. I backed up a bit noticing my face was too close to his chest and looked up to make eye contact, BARELY. I think I was too nervous, he gave me manager vibes. "Hehehe, yeahhh, I uhhh, did not design this? Don't know who did that. I just came in here and changed a couple things?" I tried to be somewhat honest, I realized it was kind of a jerk move to hijack another person's work. I heard birds singing outside?? He smiled more and extended his hands outward, twirling around slowly as he joyfully spoke, "Well I think it looks wonderful! Such a pleasure, a wonderbout of a (blurry, can't remember)." I was pretty happy to see someone like my "work" so I was practically gleaming. I woke up and it's morning. I went on my back for more lucid control and "continuing" the conversation in my head, successfully re-entered the dream. "Yeah, it is pretty great...Oh! I just remembered I got uhhh...this architect business thingy to do. Thanks for your great uhmm compliments. Goodbye!!"I forced my dream self to say goodbye because, during his whole twirling thing, his head did not move at all with his body as he maintained eye contact with me. It was creepy and I don't like being nervous. I quickly scuttled off not listening to whatever he had to say after that. Going back to what I was doing earlier, I got back into a heavily populated area to look for a map. I looked back a few times to make sure Mr.Owl-dude wasn't following me. At the end of the hallway was this old-looking guy standing there. Maybe he has a map? To be honest, I had no idea why I needed a map. I went up to him and happily greeted him. He just stared at me with a bug-eyed look. "Do you have a map of this place?" I ask, exaggerating my question with hand movement. Then the old guy started to talk crazy stuff, like my whole life was one big lie and that my current reality was false! He was almost shouting at this point. Little "pictures" popped up around his head that he pointed to, he kept talking about how my dimension is a game for others, it was bonkers. I was somewhat amused at this so I stayed there and materialized a chair to sit on. He reminded me of those End-Day prophets or cult leaders, who knows, he was wearing a raggedy robe after all. I sat there for a few more minutes watching him jump around and holler about my false life. Then I sat up, gave him a thumbs-up, and left. He was pretty mad to see me leave but he stayed in his spot of anger. I walked around more, mostly long hallways, there were no rooms or shops, just hallways. I got curious and took more control, I phased my head through a wall. That dull grey again. Hmmm. I looked around the exterior of the building to see more god-forsaken hallways. Ugh, I get my head back inside and am discontent with my endless maze of hallways. I hear a voice in my head tell me that the people know the way. So I follow the people. Too bad I woke up again. Funny, the old guy was practically right, my dream was a false life.
