Walking around in a cave with a pickaxe is my first reminisce of the dream. Torches in left hand and pickaxe in the other. I'd say I've been playing too much Minecraft but unfortunately I'm busy. Maybe I'm thinking about Minecraft too much, that's a possibility. Anyways, I'm L O ST. Not a good lost either, my resources are few and I'm limping from the left leg and being careful to not touch my upper area because ARROWS are sticking out of my chest and shoulders. Three of them. My sword is broke, my shield is broke, only have my pickaxe, a torch, and my satchel; which has a small bit of water, four iron bars, sticks, and some empty potions (think there were other stuff too but it's blurry). Not having a good time as I use the cave wall as support. An arrow punctured something in my chest because I have small dribbles of blood coming out from my mouth and I'm having a hard time breathing. In trying to find my way back up the cave, a horde of skeletons came from a poorly lit area, forcing me to run blindly into another dark cave. Tripping on a jutted rock, I tumble down the downward dark cave, slowly rolling to a stop on my front, feeling cold liquid below. An arrow broke off and now I'm bleeding out more quicker, grunting and turning onto my side, I do the classic "put a hand to the wound (well the one with no arrow in it) and pull back my hand from wincing to see whole hand coated in my blood" type action. Muttering a curse word, I use the wall to stand up and lean on it a bit with my back to look up, making sure the skeletons were not following with their bows. I can't get back up there. With a sense of foreboding, I look down into the dark cave and sigh, I somehow have to get back up to the surface from down here with one torch...MY TORCH! My torch is gone! I crouch down, ignoring pain, and pat my hands on the ground in search for the burnt stick, even though I have no way to re-light it. More curse words are muttered, I back up and limp down the cave on high guard because now I have no light. At least my eyes adjusted to the dark a little bit so now it's equivalent to walking in your house at dead of night with no light and curtains closed, except the room is painted dark grey and all the furniture is black. Fun times. I hit a fork in the cave system and go right, it's a dead-end, I go back and go left this time. It gets narrower and narrower and at the end is a small hole, I mine it a bit, enough for me to squeeze through without breaking any more arrows and leaving a bigger trace of blood behind me. I enter another cave and this one is big and round and spacious. In the space is five zombies, with nowhere left to run, the nearest exit behind the zombies, I brandish my pickaxe and hobble around swiping at the zombies. I managed to kill one after stabbing him hard in the head. A few more close encounters of death later, I have killed the rest and have to take a break. Sitting as far as I can from the double dead bodies, I look in my satchel to see if there is anything that can heal me because I'm dizzy now and my shirt is just caked in my own blood. Nothing in there to help me. I sit there for a few minutes to catch my wheezing breath and stretch my left leg out, think I sprained the ankle which would explain the limp. Whatever fight I got into earlier really messed me up. Continuing for what felt like hours, I went through different cave systems, finding no ore OR monsters, just me, the arrows, and the silence. I started to grow paranoid from the silence and have started to think something is watching me. I keep hearing footsteps, seeing things from the corner of my eye, hearing other mining, feeling cold drafts on the back of my neck, and knocks on the wall. One side of me thinks it's a monster stalking me, the other side is more logical and thinks it's from the huge loss of blood. But it's hard to listen to logic when it's dark, you're lost deep underground, no supplies, no sound, hungry, and the fact you might die from the arrows or starvation is heavy in your mind. My hope comes back though after seeing some light at the end of the cave I was in. It wasn't from the outside but maybe it could have been one of my caves I explored. I trudged a little quicker and went through the small passageway to another cave. It was a small area and right in the middle was a torch. Not mine but a torch nonetheless. This was suspicious but I went to it anyway, relishing in the light. I had the thought of using the fire to heat up an iron bar to cauterize the arrow wounds but I could collapse the cave from the screaming I would produce and possibly pass out or attract monsters, or BOTH. So I didn't do this. The feeling of being watched grew stronger as I progressed through the cave with a torch and I started to twitch and frequently look behind me. I heard mining again and started to run with panic, not caring about my ankle or anything. I half fall down into a deep cavern hole in the ground and land roughly with a shout of pain. A pool of lava is next to me and I shoot backwards upon noticing how close I was to a burning death. At least it's warm. I wearily stand back up, almost tumbling towards the lava pool, and turn around to see if there's a way out of this cave. There was but a head was peeking around the exit's corner, a head with eerie white eyes, enchanting looking in the darkness. Excitement and absolute terror flowed through my veins and I felt like I was eleven all over again in my days of believing Herobrine. I just stood there in shock and almost fell in the lava again from taking a step backwards. My mouth was in a wide-open smile and I bravely (foolishly) made eye contact with the white-eyed being, He slowly started to float towards me as I did this and I knew right then and there I was going to die. Even though I was astonished, I threw my pickaxe weakly at him, missing, and pulled out the two arrows from my chest with a grunt. I threw those too. They bounced off of him. Bleeding more, I lean from dizziness and held out a hand towards the Hero, telling him to stop. He stopped walking(hovering??) and stared at me. The air got colder and the lava's light was weak in comparison to the white eyes. I kneeled on the ground, fearing I would fall into the lava next time I stumbled. I suddenly saw these dark brown boots in front of me, either I blacked out or he teleported in front of me, I was immediately pulled up from my neck and was held at eye level, white eyes filling my vision and hurting my head, after a few minutes of staring, he threw me backwards roughly. I splashed into the lava and it didn't burn but I knew it was killing me. I maintained eye contact and still felt extremely cold staring into the white orbs, he stayed and watched my despise. Orange filled my view as I sank and for dramatic Terminator effect, I made sure my hand was the last to sink into the lava. I wasn't expecting something to grab it though. Last thing I heard was a male voice saying, "You Fool," in my head. I was yanked back out and light-filled my whole vision and I woke up with adrenaline. YeS.
