I.....was a little kid. A small child, in this dream. Not sure the exact age but nothing more than ten years old. I've had a few dreams where I was little before, most of them were kind of "mixed memories" dreams of my past at a park and whatnot. This one was not so I decided to jot it down. Ding ding ding! I was staying in a cabin in the mountains- pretty sure it might have been the same one in the dream with the floating city where I "kidnapped" a prince. There was no snow, it must be summer. I was playing in the flower dome area attached to the house, it looked different than last time, the flowers were more vibrant and the layout was changed. I didn't care. I was collecting flowers, playing make-pretend that I was a thief (funny because I used to do this with flowers when I was little). I had quite the collection....wellllll mostly purples. I like purple. I was collecting rocks too, one's that were sorta shiny and some that had a good shape to them. At this point, I started my own little flower-rock dragon hoard in the middle of the dome. I was trying to make the hoard pretty but it just wasn't happening- dream kept ruining it, brain was like: No. I run back inside with a handful of flowers and rocks in my pockets, I set them on the kitchen counter and sit myself on a stool with difficulty because I am small. I start to deconstruct the flowers like the monster I am, bored. I was waiting for my friend to come over so we could have a sleepover. Getting down from the stool, I sing quietly to myself, a tune of complete utter nonsense, and grab a small wooden bowl with a spoon. I had "memories" of me pulling up a chair and standing on it to watch my friend mash flowers and other things in a bowl, he sometimes let me mash them for a bit as long as I didn't touch it (a rather tall friend I have there huh). Going back to my stool, I put some of the flowers I didn't fancy much into the wooden bowl and tried to, you know, mash. It wasn't working though with the spoon. I set the spoon down and get off the stool, looking in the drawers for something else that might work. I did not have a big round stick like my friend had, I searched earlier in the nearby woods for a stick like that and could not find one. Now, these drawers were a bit unusual, one was full of various knives with red on them, one full of glass vials; some were empty, others were not- thought of drinking one because I was thirsty but remembered my friend told me not to do that, another was full of dead bugs- I screamed a bit at that one and roughly shutted it, I pulled out another drawer with a dark maroon orb in the middle. The orb did not move, roll, and it was the only thing in the drawer. I smiled a bit, excited for my new discovery of another shiny rock. I literally thought this smooth circular shape was a rock. Go dream-child-me! I picked it up and closed the drawer, heading to add the rock to my counter collection. I looked down at it to change hands in which I was holding it because it was pretty cold like an ice-cube, a warp sound was heard. My surroundings were no longer of the cozy kitchen. Dead ground crunched under my bare feet and the air was ash grey with no sun to warm it up. Spears, broken shields, swords, arrows, all sorts of weapons lay on the ground next to half skeletons wearing scattered pieces of armor. A battlefield. The orb was gone. Being real careful, I walked around making sure to not cut my feet on anything. I was trembling from the cold and fear, a few tears falling, I wanted to go back home. I looked around trying to figure out which direction home can possibly be. I cried out "Help!" a few times not knowing what to do or how I got here. It wasn't much of the dead bodies that scared me- didn't really know what they were at the time- it was the silence and slight darkness, the deadness. Now, this is kinda sad and funny, I grabbed a long stick (staff) and tapped it on the ground a couple of times trying to mimic what my friend does because it worked for him. Nothing happened. I tried again with more taps and ended up sitting down, tossing the staff to the side, upset it wasn't working. After a few minutes of sulking, I stood back up with short breaths, fearing I would never find my way home. Eventually, I ran into this circular area on the ground that had nothing in it at all, no weapons, scraps, bodies, nothing. The dirt even looked a better color. I plopped down in the middle of it. A ringing and sudden vibration on my thigh startled me, my phone! I took it out and answered it. I calmed myself a bit before asking, "Hello?". "Bonjour cherie, may I ask where you are? Did you get lost in the woods again?" my friend questioned me. My spirits brightened up a bit as I smiled, happy that I may not be lost for much longer, "No, I was in the kitchen but now I'm in this quiet grey area....-I pause a bit in speech- it's not very nice." I say this looking at a skull at the edge of a circle. Some of those were on shelves high up at home. I grew more lucid and took better control of my body, I dropped the phone no longer interested in this "friend". Taking large strides, I ran across the battlefield feeling mighty and powerful. I quickly got to the end of the battlefield at the skirts of a blue forest and looked back to see how large this area actually was. There was no longer a battlefield. Just a singular black car. Curious, I went to the black car to the driver's side. No one was in there so I got in it, no keys were required since it seemed to come to life on its own. I pushed down the gas pedal and nothing happened. I get out of the car and walk around it. The hell? I'm in space now on some ring, which reminds me of Rainbow Road in Mario Kart. I crawl underneath the car for some reason to find a sewer grate, I open it up and go in there. I fall through and land roughly on the ground. I stand up and make an awe sound at the pretty autumn forest I am now in. The sky is lit up with stars in the night, only except the moon is the sun. The stars move a lot. I keep my head tilted up, awning at all the stars and colors. Until my skin felt icy cold and I heard two taps, "Take it you like the car, fancy another ride?." The dream ends. I have a faint remembrance of actually nodding at the question but I'm not sure. Same thing happened in my very first dream. I was invited to a car ride but don't actually remember the car ride- just the implication of it. It's very confusing.
