This dream was quite the experience I'll tell ya that. Figures that I am left completely alone from crazy dreams during final's week yet the second the first day of actual no college hits (summer vacation)- I get a crazy dream (thanks Vincent for being so so so GENEROUS HUH). So, I first find myself in some underground lab. This lab is not underwater, but this weird translucent liquid that was a light cyan with barely visible swirls of green that would float around- similar to wind. From dream knowledge of "past memories", this was MY lab where I was studying this planet. I was basically a scientist and to my understanding, the Not-Water (can't find a better name) was extremely cold that it would give you third-degree type COLD BURNS- guess Cold Lava (hey look a name). The Cold Lava somehow did not affect my under lava base in any way, must be some expensive Cold-proof well-insulated material or something. Don't know. The under lava lab had lots of windows to look out and see all of the wonderful-somehow-surviving coral and fish. Easy to see since it was pretty much the same clear visibility as water. Amazingly, I was wearing my OWN LAB COAT!! I'm a big nerd. It was this deep royal blue color and I had all sorts of weird crap in my pockets; pens, feathers, little rocks with symbols, ?notepad?, and a spray can with gibberish wording on it (good job brain). So, typing on a keyboard to my science computer machine thing in the laboratory room with basically, all of the walls being windows, and pondering about some creature I found which was on the monitor screen, I'm waiting for it to load. Looking behind me to stare at my tables of science; potion vials, alchemy set, dissecting type stuff, weird plants, colorful objects (can't remember what they were except they were colorful), and of course a black coffee machine. I then hear a ding, the computer is done loading the creature data set, I go back to more keyboard typing while also zooming in on the fins using my hand, making notes on the screen with a digital pen. The image changed constantly yet I always adapted to the change- dream wackiness. Now, I want to study some of the coral samples on the table I collected. Before I get to do this, I look out the window-walls and see this big serpent creature looking at me. This serpent had four bright brown, thinly slitted pupils, eyes that were not friendly. It had a long bridge of a nose with long, sharp teeth that overhanged from its mouth, long METAL curly horns protruding from the end of its nose- along the top of the eyes (each one too), to the top and outwards in a curved slant inwards (so four horns). It had torn webbing along its angled cheeks and overall, the head shape was long and narrow. The body was long as well with Rust-colored scales that stuck out a bit like a Bush Viper. Along its back were these long thin spikes that moved with it, with torn webbing in between each that was cream-colored. I would tell ya what the tail looked like too if it didn't start smashing its head at the glass causing me to gawk at it in horror and fascination. Yet, even knowing it was a DANGEROUS creature in DANGEROUS Cold-Lava - things that can both kill me pretty easily-, I simply plopped down onto a nearby table and started sketching it out with its mouth open in some roar. No wonder I'm such a good scientist. The only thing that probably saved me was that the power went out and the only lights working were the emergency red lights with beeping. I HATE the beeping- more like sirens actually. Throwing my sketchbook down with a huff and hearing the GLASS CRACK, I make my way towards the submarine ship for some reason? Power generators aren't that way! Guess I'm just avoiding it and heading out, who knows what the hell dream me is thinking (no controlling her!). Flipping a bunch of switches that turned it on along with lights, the ship emitted a low hum and a tiny bit of vibrations. Waiting patiently for lab-garage-door thing to open, not like there's a Serpent outside trying to kill me, I hum some songs to myself with little groovy dances like I'm waiting at a red light. For some reason though, all of a sudden I'm back in the Laboratory room, with the power still out yet no alarms are going off anymore. It's dark, nighttime on the planet so I might as well be in the Void because there are no lights from the stars or whatever moon there might be. It's deafening silent as my eyes slightly adjust to the darkness, the lab is a MESS. The windows are cracked everywhere but show no sign of actually breaking. Papers are all over the floor, vases are broken, broken vials are all over the floor and tables, the monitor screen is busted, the floor is ?dusty?, it looks like I haven't been in there in YEARS! For all I know, this could have been true somehow. Making sure to watch my step so I don't cut myself, I go to the window to look out in the black void of the Cold-Lava. I know that Serpent is still out there, I know that there are exactly ten of them surrounding and circling the Lab in a predator-like way. What bothers me is that in the reflection, I see myself wearing a torn ratted-up version of my lab coat with messy hair, scratch marks all over, bruises, and my eyes are blurred. I am distracted by this though when I see some light turn on behind me that emits from the hallway into the Laboratory doorway, walking away from the window, I peek my head around the doorway to see the Kitchen room light on down the hall with sounds of someone in there. This out of all of the things fills me with some sort of dread so I move the opposite way. As I progress through the Lab, I see holes in the wall, doors ripped out, papers scattered, leaks, some tracks of other liquids on the floor, and cracks everywhere. Suddenly, once again, I'm in the Laboratory- did not go there physically though, I have no BODY. In-camera mode now I guess, I try to look for my body interested in what Me is doing wondering if they're going to hide or something. But, curiosity gets the best of me that instead of turning right, I go left down the hall to the lighted kitchen. Not peeking, or being cautious, I stand right in front of the doorway feeling excited. The kitchen is not there, it's just OPEN, the Cold-Lava is being held back by some force and I feel the ten Serpents start to head for this area of entry in the darkness. The light is still there for some reason, not coming from any source. I hear skittering roars and feel the rush of Serpents going past me and phasing through the lab like ghosts with mouths open trying to bite whatever. Once they are all gone, the light disappears and all that is left in the open hole of darkness is a pair of Bright Orange eyes with pupils (can't tell if slitted or regular because they were far away). I can't move. I don't have a body yet I can not move. Excited fear starts to run through me as I watch the eyes get closer. Suddenly, I am pulled forward, like I felt something grab my non-existent waist type deal, and I am now in the Cold-Lava. The lab is no longer there. We are in the deep area of this Cold-Lava ocean. I know my body is hiding in the lab far away and think heavily of TELEPORTING back to it. I can't. I am stuck down in the Cold-Lava deep, black as the void, with no body, with a pair of orange eyes that swim around me in circles- like the ten Serpents were doing with the lab= predatory. I "close my eyes" to not look anymore to focus on teleporting back or just going to a whole other area completely, trying to CHANGE the dream. I can't. Opening my eyes back up, the eyes are much closer as they stare at me. I follow them as they go behind me. I felt a sudden cold rush as they charged me and this jolted me awake. I had so much adrenaline flowing through me and I was covering my mouth in amazed shock at the horrificness of it.
