11 - i love you too

Xiao Zhan woke up from his study table when someone hugged him from behind. The familiar perfume was strong in his nose and it kinda wake him up completely. He sleepily looked at the face of his hugger and smiled.

"Hey," he muttered in low, raspy voice. He snuggled his head to the arm that snaked in his shoulder and chest, feeling satisfied. This person was the one who kept him sane from this stressful line of work.

Years had passed, Xiao Zhan and Yibo were still the most powerful actors in China. People said that they were lucky enough to participate as main leads in a successful and viral drama The Untamed. It gathered fans all around the world that made their career skyrocketed.

Xiao Zhan could never forget the biggest decision he had made in his life before he became what he is now. He auditioned to become a singer, but debuted as an idol and later on, he challenged himself in acting. Meanwhile, Yibo successfully sued his senior and regained his spot in the industry.

But unbeknownst to everyone, they also had hard times to keep up with everything. Xiao Zhan, still new and not so knowledgeable on how industry work, developed insomnia and became stressful with everything. He had those series of breakdown, missing his parents and wanting Yibo's presence.

Wang Yibo had to be scrutinized with everything he do. Even his fans were curious who was the mysterious girlfriend he had in Chongqing. Fans did outrageous things like asking every houses in Chongqing and even searching any possible pretty girls that Yibo met in the city. From then on, they always refute any rumors that further damaged him.

Yibo also knew that Xiao Zhan went to audition to become an artist. He wanted to congratulate him, or to see him just a little bit. But his moves were always monitored by his much stricter management.

He finally saw Xiao Zhan in DDU. They pretended to not know each other because they should not know each other. Even though Yibo wanted to go and hug him again, to feel Xiao Zhan's comforting warmth and smell his pleasant perfume again. But he could only bow his head, and steal a glance.

When Xiao Zhan had his first opportunity to see Yibo again, he wanted to go with him. He missed him. He wanted to see him. He wanted to hear him call him 'Zhan'ge' again. But it was all in vain. Xiao Zhan had to departure right after their episode in DDU. Not even a little interaction.

On the day after the ddu episode was filmed, Xiao Zhan saw a message on his wechat. His heart pounded when he saw who it was.

"This is Wang Yibo."

Because of uncontrollable excitement, he punched his pillow, buried his face in it and silently screamed.

From then on they started to wechat each other, in every possible time they have despite busy schedule. It went just like that until they had little argument about Yibo's dating rumors and eventually, Xiao Zhan became distant in their conversation. Xiao Zhan by then had his own dramas in the making.

It was not impossible to be blinded with the cameras aiming at you. Xiao Zhan became too focused in his acting debut that he forgot an important person waiting for his reply. He completely forgot him as he was also up in the mountain with little to no internet connection.

Yibo in every shows and interviews became more silent and cold. Who wouldn't? When the one you loved had completely abandoned you for so long.

When the report about an adaptation from an explicit BL book had been set on filming and have a live action, it became a talk of the internet. When Xiao Zhan was announced as one of the main leads, Yibo grabbed the chance.

That was how they finally met each other again and continued what was started.

"Zhan'ge, why are you sleeping here? Let's go to bed." Yibo said but continue to hug Xiao Zhan who was sitting on a chair.

Xiao Zhan hummed, "Let's eat first. I cooked for you. Let me heat it."

"Okay, ge."

Yibo discarded his layers of clothes first, leaving him with simple white t-shirt before he followed Xiao Zhan in the kitchen.

He leaned on the table, watching Xiao Zhan heat the food in the microwave. There was a sudden burst of warmth in his chest just watching his boyfriend made dinner for him. It was always been like this, and Yibo fell even deeper in love with Xiao Zhan. If that was still possible.

Before he could stop himself, he just found himself hugging Xiao Zhan and burying his face on his nape.

"Zhan'ge, wo ai ni," Yibo coquettishly said. He groped Xiao Zhan's abdomen and got lost in his boyfriend's warmth. Xiao Zhan found his touch a little ticklish. And his confession tickled his heart too.

"Bodi, do you want to have dinner? Quit hugging me and step back a little." Xiao Zhan replied.

Yibo pouted, "Be my dinner, ge."

Xiao Zhan almost dropped the plate he was holding when Yibo's hands travelled lower and Xiao Zhan held his breath before stopping him.

"Real dinner, Wang Yibo. We need real food." Xiao Zhan said, much to Yibo's disappointment. But he actually liked the idea. "Your favorite dinner will be later after your real dinner. Now go set the plates."

Yibo happily obliged.

Xiao Zhan hid his smile as he watched Yibo move to set the plates on the table. He made a biggest decision that changed his life forever. There were many consequences of course, some were unimaginable. But Yibo was his trophy. He felt like the happiest person in the whole world.
