So, since everyone is confused, I'll explain.
The way Jordan and Julio survived was that Jordan went back in, found Julio. A Canadian spy with the large group got them out a window but they were too majorly injured to go back for the rest. Once they were across the Canadian border, the law says they aren't allowed to go back. Jordan and Julio spent the next year monitoring all hospitals north of where their base was located. When they 'died' Jay was unconscious, so they didn't know if she was alive or dead.
(This is the story planned out since the 'died', it's not just off the top of my head :D)
