Roy quietly walked down the hall toward Saleyah's room. Henrick had long since gone asleep and Roy was worried about Saleyah. He pushed her door open to find her hurridly stashing clothes and supplies into a small pack. "So your leaving." he said quietly.
Saleyah whipped around to face him. She awnsered venomously, "Of course I'm leaving! I have to find Elisia! its my fault she's gone and after I find her I have to go to the capitol to find my real family." ashe said bitterly.
Roy looked her in the eye and said, "Your not going, at least not alone."
Relief poured over her features for about a second before she quickly said, "Well if you must."
They set out at midnight with a quick note to Henrick and were follownig the two day old trail that they could barely see in silence. Finally Roy couldn't take it any more. "Saleyah-" he whispered running his fingers through his hair making it stand straight up. Saleyah just shook her head and continued pretending to look at a snapped twig as she blinked away tears.
