Luke's POV
As much as we wanted too we made the groups decision not to chase after Sang when she left with Rhiannon, though it was a decision that a lot of us had originally refused until Owen explained she needed time to calm down.
Wil had stayed in the camper explaining to us more in detail about things in Sang's past and i like many of my brothers, if not all of them, could barely keep control of the anger filling our veins as we learned just what she had gone through.
Sold.
Her parents sold her like she was nothing to a god damn circus!
And considering how Sean had stated she had older wounds on her body it was clear they did more than just selling her to a circus.
Seriously, how is it even possible to sell someone in this day and age?
''Stop the daydreaming, we need this area cleaned within the next hour''
I was brought out my thoughts by Jay who was currently sorting out issues for tonight's performances and frowned at the dirt below me, it seemed no matter how much i cleaned it was never ending.
''Oi Jay Jay!''
I perked up suddenly at the familair voice of Rhiannon who had came almost skipping towards my area with her sight full on Jay and it took much not to laugh at the way she almost sang out Jay's nickname in a childlike manner.
''What is it?''
Jay asked with a frown as he turned away from Mike, another cleaner who was also in charge of the Elephants.
''Where is Thunderbolt?''
What kind of name is Thunderbolt?
I noticed Jay looking confused for a second before he placed his hand on his face giving an exasperated sigh.
''Change your horses name again? i thought it was Black Hawk?....or was it Lightening McNeigh?''
I couldn't contain the small chuckle that left me at hearing the bad pun name she had named a horse which caused Rhiannon to take notice of me a small smile placed on her lips as she gave a half wave in my direction as she continued her conversation with Jay.
''Thunderbolt seemed better''
''That poor horse is going to end up with a personality disorder if you don't just stick to one name''
I shook my head as i silently chuckled, Rhiannon was some character but my attention suddenly snapped back at her as i remembered how she was last with Sang, we had agreed not to go after her last night but this was the next day, and i had to make sure she was ok.
I noticed Rhiannon was looking at me once again thoughtfully as Jay turned his attention to someone else to ask about 'Thunderbolt' and i tried to plead with my eyes that she would tell me where Sang was so i could sneak out of here and check up on her.
Rhiannon seemed so lost in whatever her thoughts were that i almost sighed in defeat figuring i would try and find Sang later when Rhiannon decided to talk to Jay again, though her voice was slightly louder than before as though she was delibrately making sure i could hear her.
''Oh by the way Jay Jay.....''
''Stop calling me that....''
''Songbird is working on a new routine in her tent right now''
I saw the confusion flash through Jay's eyes.
''Uh....okay?''
''Figured you'd want to know where she was, in case you needed to talk to her''
