A/N IM BACK!!! sorry it took so long, i became unwell last week and because i volunteer making food and prescription deliveries i was at risk of it being Covid, thankfully i tested negative on Tuesday so as the nurse said is either Strep/Tonsillitis, i'm finally back to feeling human so here an update for yah ;)
This chapter is dedicated to the cover photo competition winner @theWritersed and introduces her character!
Sang's POV
It always felt weird not performing other than singing, i rarely never just sang which made me worry just who this special guest was that Hendricks and McCoy were making sure i didn't get into any accident's until i could perform for that person.
''That was an amazing performance''
I turned towards the voice of Axel who currently sported an all in one fading grey janitor suit and large brush on his left hand.
I see who got stuck on animal clean up.
All workers doing a shift with the animals had to wear that hideous janitor clothing.
''Thank you Axel''
I mumbled softly under my breath as i felt my cheeks heat up from the simply compliment i have been complimented before but for some strange reason it felt different when it came from these men.
''I wondered if perhaps we could talk...''
He began causing me to raise my eyebrow at his question but he simply indicated with his head for me to follow and with a small sigh i began following him as he lead me further away from the main tent passing several performers who paid us no mind until we cam to an area of the field we currently set up camp in that was deserted as he took a seat on the ground and sighed loudly.
Did something happen?
''Did you need something from me?''
I asked worried, he was alot like Owen and i feared this would end in a similar way that conversations with me and Owen end and right now i was trying to avoid butting heads with the obvious leaders of the group, there was more important thing's to do.
''Have a seat Sang, i promise i wont bite''
I almost jumped back in surprise at Axel's words, was he making a joke? I nervously glanced around before sitting down next to Axel bringing my legs up to my chest as i glanced towards the pitch darkness waiting to see what he wanted from me.
''Despite some differences we've experienced i unlike some....''
He didn't say a name but i knew who he meant.
Owen.
''I know that we need to at least try and get along if we are going to work together, The Academy teaches us how important trust within a family is...''
''But i'm not family''
I quickly added though i agreed that we certainly did need to get along a lot more, well at least me and Owen, i hadn't had such problems with any of the others as i did with him.
Axel let out a small hum but didn't say anything towards my comment as he continued.
''We may have different reasons to why we are hear but we share the same goal, the end of Hendricks and McCoy''
I gave a small nod keeping my eyes on the darkness ahead of us as he spoke,
''A few of my brother's are already quite fond of you and i'm pretty certain the other's will soon follow, i worry we-they will get hurt but at the same time i can understand why it may seem worth the risk and it would only lead to disaster if i tried to put a stop to....their fondness so i wont...i'm willing to put my trust in you for them, but i ask one thing in return...''
