The wild boy used his wild magic to part away the vines that stood in his way, leaving the shrubbery that covered the other side remained closed. Suddenly, Izuku felt something slam against his back, which was soon after followed by something warm and heavy on his left shoulder. Dropping his head to see, his eyes then landed on a pale hand resting atop of it.

It didn't take long for him to figure out who it belonged to and what had just crashed against him and nearly toppled him over when he immediately turned his head to see. Since he was taller than him, Izuku needed to lift his head a bit just to take a glimpse of the Shoto's face. For some strange reason, he found this utterly terrified look on his face, he could even feel his hyperventilating breathing blowing against his curls.

As if it mattered to him why the other boy was acting strangely all of a sudden, so he just shrugged the his hand off his shoulder and shot him a quick snarl before turning to look back in front of him. And then suddenly, a few wolves had managed to crawl their way through the small pathway the wild boy made through the shrubbery and literally crashed into the two boys. The wolves startled Shoto a bit, but Izuku doesn't seem to be bothered by them at all.

Anyhow, raising his dimly glowing hand, Izuku then parted a few vines that make up the wall in front of him, just enough for him to look through the other side without being spotted. And the first thing he sees was a large hulking man in a dark cloak, crouching down on the ground and setting up more of those dangerous contraptions with powerful jaws just a few feet from where they were.

"Just one Townie!" Izuku whispered. "I'll give him a bit of a scare" he grinned maliciously as he raised his hand out towards said man, golden lights began to spiral above his palm.

But to Shoto, if it were not for the flaming red, that man over there was more than 'just one Townie'.

"No, stop!" Shoto quietly exclaimed as he quickly grabbed the back of Izuku's tunic and pulled him back, causing the vines to retract back and close the gap that serves as some sort of window to the other side.

Unfortunately, the shrubs shook and rustled loudly in the process, loud enough for the hunter to take notice. Turning his attention away from what looks to be a broken flora-infested wheel he was inspecting, the man's gaze then landed on where he thought was the source of the sudden noise, which was the wall of shrubbery close by. With that, he stood up from his half-kneeling position and made his way towards it.

From within the green foilage that made up the wall, Shoto continued to hyperventilate as if he had recently just ran a mile. Fear slowly began to build up deep within the hunter boy when he anxiously heard his father's heavy footsteps crunching the grass below growing closer towards their hiding spot. Shoto's frightened reactions appear to annoy Izuku.

Because in addition to being held tightly by a pair of large arms, the wild boy was left trying to wriggle himself free from the hunter boy's surprisingly vice grip on his smaller body, his growls and snarls were muffled by the hand on his mouth. Although, Izuku begrudgingly stopped once he realizes that the townie was closely approaching from where they were, but not without shooting a glare at Shoto. Suddenly, Shoto felt and heard heavy breathing blowing against the top of his head.

Darting his pupils up to see, he soon finds out that one of the wolves had managed to peak it's head out of the cramped pile of canines from behind him. It wasn't really that much worth pointing out, that is if it were not for the wolf's loud panting, let alone within close proximity to the foilage that kept them all from being spotted by the man that stood at the other side. It could be out of a mindless state of panic, because the hunter boy just straight up grabbed the beast's large jaw as some sort of attempt to shut it's snout close to silence it, causing it to let out a soft and quick whimper.
