"This time, don't run off like that again, I was afraid that I'd I lost you."

"Sorry!"

When both boys returned to the marketplace, they found the place still as busy and bustling as when they have left it. Shoto held onto Izuku's hand as tight as he could, that's if he didn't want to end up loosing him again. But the instant Izuku's nose picked up the delicious scent of freshly baked pastries, he was immediately following it towards it's very source, but not without dragging Shoto along.

Izuku led him to a stall filled with hot steaming pies, and just the sight of them sitting there stacked in towers got his emerald eyes sparkling with delight and his mouth watering. Without looking away from such delectable sight, Izuku reached his hand out and was so close to getting one from the pile.

"Izuku, no!"

Then suddenly, he felt himself being forcefully pulled by back by his left hand, later realizing that it was indeed Shoto.

"You said you don't want people to chase you anymore, right? So keep your hands to yourself and quit grabbing things that don't belong to you!"

Once Shoto was finished scolding him, that's when he now noticed Izuku pouting while angrily starring down on the ground. Izuku was a stubborn one, that's why Shoto needed to be stern with him, that's if he didn't want him to end up repeating the same mistake as before. Although, it was necessary.

But Shoto felt as though this kind of method just wasn't the right one, especially for Izuku. So he took in a breath before turning his expression gentle with a soft smile across his lips.

Raising a hand to ruffle the other's fluffy green hair, which annoyed said boy a bit, he said with a chuckle "We need to pay for it first, remember? Observe!"

Shoto let go of Izuku's hand just so he could take out one of two small bags that hung from his belt. And while doing so, he approached the very stall that sold the very pastries Izuku was craving for.

"Two of your finest fish pies, please!" Shoto politely told the familiar dark-haired woman behind the stall while holding up two fingers.

"That would be five farthings!" The woman said as she simultaneously extended both of her hands out towards the boy from the other side of the stall, her one hand carrying the two pastries he asked for while the other was empty.

In response, Shoto took out as mentioned, five bronze coins from the small bag then dropped them on the woman's expecting palm. So with that, he happily took the two pies from her with no problem at all. This entire time, Izuku silently watched it all, astonished that Shoto had actually got the town tasties without getting chased in the end.

"See? Got the town tasties without getting chased." With one hand holding one pie, he extended the other towards the other boy and added "Here you go!"

Izuku however looked hesitant for some reason, as if he were debating whether he deserved such a delightful treat or not. And Shoto appears to have noticed, because he began humming long and loudly, thinking of something. Then suddenly, his expression lit up, the perfect idea seeming to have appeared in his mind perhaps.

And he began by taking a bite of his own pie. The pie tasted good, Shoto admitted. But instead of moaning in delight, the expression on his face instead made him look disappointed.

"Well that's weird!"

Hearing this managed to catch Izuku's attention, shooting Shoto a questioning look.

"This isn't as tasty as I thought it would be." Lifting his head to meet gazes with Izuku, the sour look he made suddenly turned bright with a smile when he added "I know. Maybe if you eat yours, will my pie taste good then?"
