"Go get it!" Shoto exclaimed as he tossed an apple high up in the air.

From out of the blue, Eijiro appeared, jumping just a bit so he could catch the fruit by his jaws with ease. There may be an apple stuck to his mouth, but that didn't stop the wolf from grinning ear to ear, it's spiky tail could be spotted happily wagging back and forth behind it.

"Good, boy!" Shoto smiled as he gently petted the top of Eijiro's head.

Suddenly, the wolf crushed the apple with it's jaws, startling the hunter boy. But the scariest part was honestly how it easily destroyed that whole hard fruit with just a single bite. Eijiro then began casually licking away the bits of fruit and juice sticking to his lips, completely oblivious to the stunned boy sitting before him.

"And nearly forgot wolves have a very powerful bite force" he spoke to himself in a surprisingly calm manner. Moving on, he took out another apple and added "Alright, Denki. It's your turn!"

Said wolf then appeared, his front lowered to the ground and his bum was raised, excited and ready to pounce. Even his tail could be spotted ecstatically wagging behind him.

"Go get it!" He repeated as he once again, threw the apple up into the air.

And just like Eijiro, Denki jumped a bit and opened his jaws, ready to catch it. But unlike the first wolf, this one failed. Because instead of snatching it by his jaws midair, the apple had hit him square on the face, right before crashing down to the forest floor.

"Oh, no. Denki, are you alright?"

The instant he hears the hunter boy spoke his name, the wolf immediately shot up from the ground. And as if nothing humiliating had just happened to him, Denki casually picked up the apple from the floor and proceeded to happily munch it down. Realizing that the wolf was indeed alright, Shoto sighed and relaxed.

"Just beasts? Yeah right!" He sarcastically chuckled to himself as he leaned comfortably against the apple tree behind him. "Who could've known wolves can be really adorable, kinda like dogs!"

Then from out of nowhere, an apple suddenly hit him hard at the top of his head.

"Ow!" He exclaimed before raising a hand to rub the aching area and soothe the pain. Lifting his head just to look up at the apple tree, he then yelled "Hey!"

"How dare you compare us to those incompetent mutts!" Izuku, whom was sitting atop a branch high above Shoto sneered as he tossed an apple up and down with one hand, the apparent culprit to why he now has a small bump on his head. Taking a massive bite out of his apple, he then arrogantly continued with a mouth full of fruit "We wolves are clearly far more superior to dogs. Besides, I don't understand them at all. Why would they choose to stay with those stinkin' townies when they can just live here in the woods like us?"

"Because unlike wolves, dogs are domesticated!"

"D-Do-mes-ti-cated?" Izuku asked confusingly, his head innocently tilting to the side.

"You know, tamed" Shoto simply replied. "An animal kept as a pet."

"What's a pet?"

Shoto couldn't blame Izuku for being utterly clueless, but that didn't mean he was growing a bit tired of his constant questioning. This wild boy really needs to learn a lot more than just running around and scaring townies, the hunter boy thought.

"Well, pets are sort of like animal companions" Shoto explained. "Back in England, I remember hunters would keep dogs to assist them when they go out hunting. And some are kept to guard homes. You know, just like wolv-"
