As Tenya soared high above the trees like a living comet. Shoto, armed with his crossbow sped through the bushes and the trees, quickly catching up to his feathered companion. The boy couldn't help but smirk to himself on how excited he felt.

He just couldn't believe it, he was actually going to hunt a real wolf. Oh, what a thrill it was gonna be! He wasn't going to miss this chance, he was going to prove to his father that he is a hunter, make the old man proud even. The further he ran, the louder and closer the ruckus became, breaking out through a bush and into a clearing.

But just like that, all that excitement he once felt immediately disappeared and stone cold reality hit him hard on the face. Dragging his heels to a stop, a sharp gasp escaped the boy's lips at the very sight before him. The scene could only be described as nothing but utter chaos: a flock of panicked bleating sheep mindlessly running around in circles, their formation in disarray.

Two men stood at the very middle of the panicked flock, one of them violently ringing a small bell that hung from a post with a rope, the apparent source of those loud toiling noises.

"Wolf!"

"Run!"

"Get back!"

"Run!"

"Wolves!"

From within the chaos of panicking bleating herd animals, Shoto could've sworn that he saw a mass of messy fur slithering across in contrast with the sheep's fluffy white wool. Hearing Tenya's screeching snapped Shoto back into reality. Turning his attention to his feathered companion, he then spotted the falcon soaring in the air and circling around a particular area.

Squinting his eyes a bit to see, his mismatched orbs suddenly widened in horror the moment he spotted the fearsome beast in all of it's ferocious glory. It was mentioned before that he has never seen one, but that didn't mean Shoto didn't know what it looked like. But the scariest part was actually witnessing the creature creeping dangerously close towards what looks to be a shepherd.

The terrified man in spectacles was drenched in sweat, left defending himself with nothing but a mere pitchfork.

"Get away, get back!"

Glancing to the side, the shepherd's horrifyingly widened yellow eyes were met with Shoto's mismatched own.

"Help!"

Shoto had nearly forgotten the very reason why he had snuck out of the town gates and wandered into the wilderness. He was a hunter, and he was going to help his old man hunt down every single one of those wolves till the land of Ireland was free from the fear and terror they have caused throughout the years. And hearing the shepherd desperately screaming out for his help had thankfully snapped out of whatever daze he was stuck in.

Gathering up all the courage he could muster deep down inside him, armed with his crossbow, Shoto charged in. But with the crazed sheep running all over the place, Shoto was pushed around, slowing him down from rescuing the poor frightened shepherd from the beast.

"Get back. Get back!" The man shouted as he made stabbing motions with his pitchfork towards the wolf.

The sheep still continued to bump into Shoto. But the boy persisted, heading ever so closer to the shepherd and the wolf with each step.

"Why, shoot. For God's sake, shoot!"

The man's fear and terror only worsened when the wolf began chomping it's jaws, baring it's razor sharp teeth out for the world to see. Shoto had gotten more than he could bargain for the moment he reached a certain spot of the stampede where the sheep were more violent in crashing into him than before. Deciding not to waste any more time in getting out of this madness of sheep, Shoto pulled out his crossbow and tried aiming for the wolf.
