The peaceful night of the wilderness was suddenly interrupted by familiar two young wolves. Their cheerful barkings echoing across the forest as they chased one another through the trees, over rocks and across open fields. That's until the black wolf pounced at the white wolf and tackled him down to the ground.
"Pinned you!" Izuku smirked.
"Oh, get off me!" Shoto chuckled as the black wolf did what he was told, got off the white wolf.
With Izuku no longer pinning him down, Shoto was free to push himself off the ground.
"You're getting pretty good as a wolf!" The black wolf chimed.
"What can I say? I learned from the one who turned me into one!" The white wolf simply responded.
"Hey, it was your fault too you know!" Izuku retorted as he playfully bumped Shoto's shoulder.
"Oh, yeah!"
With a playful growl, Shoto then suddenly pounced at Izuku. But being a better wolf, let alone a wolf longer than he was, Izuku was able to easily overpower Shoto and pin him down on the ground once again.
"Pinned you again!" Izuku mischievously giggled before bolting away.
"Hey, get back here!" Shoto yelled as he quickly got off the ground and proceeded to chase after the other wolf.
The white wolf then stopped, realizing that he had just lost track of the black wolf. As if that was a problem for Shoto. Since he was a wolf now, all he needed to do was lift his head and sniff the air. Once he was able to pick up Izuku's familiar bright green scent, a victorious smirk made it's way across Shoto's snout.
"Got you!" He quietly exclaimed before pushing his paws to a sprint, following the other wolf's scent trail through the woods.
As the white wolf ran through the forest, that's when from out of nowhere, Shoto's nose picked up another scent. Unlike Izuku's, this scent trail was a bright indigo. And Shoto could easily tell that this scent trail belonged to something, a living creature to be specific.
The white wolf would've just brushed it off as either one of the wolves from the pack or the other animals that inhabited this forest. But that was the weirdest part, it was a whole new different scent to him. Curiosity appears to have overtaken Shoto when he began to follow the glowing indigo scent trail through the dark woods.
Hearing rustling coming from the bushes ahead of him made the white wolf freeze in his tracks.
"Huh?"
Shoto silently watched as the bushes in front of him continued to shake and rustle. That's until there emerged from within the shadows was what looks to be another wolf. Shoto gasped in shock once he finally noticed something rather concerning.
Even beneath the dimness of the moonlight, Shoto could easily tell that it had a dark gray fur coat. Which could only mean, this wolf was definitely not a part of Izuku's pack. The dark gray wolf was bigger than him, so of course Shoto would be frightened.
But what terrified the white wolf the most was watching it so slowly beginning to creep it's way towards him, making him immediately take a few steps back. He could also hear a low rumble that sounded like a growl coming from the other wolf, more reason for him to back a good distance away from it. He was slow and cautious, fearing that a wrong move may trigger the other and probably attack.
