chapter six: The date

Katara's pov:
I woke up too the sound of my alarm buzzing and I turned it off. I took my phone from my nightstand and I had two new messages one from Aang and other message was from Zuko

Aang: Good morning beautiful, I hope you slept well. I just wanted to check if you're okay,call me if you need something k?

Katara: Morning Aang, and i slept well thanks for asking, you don't need to worry about me. You said it yourself I'm a strong woman 😌

Aang:I know you are 😏,well I'm glad you're okay. I guess I'll see you around?

Katara:yeah, maybe. If I decide to Grace you with my  presence 😉

Aang: lmao, okay then have a nice day,bye kat❤️

I smiled at the nickname, many people called me that but when Aang called me Kat it felt different,I don't know why.

Katara: bye ☺️

After my little conversation with Aang I decided to open Zuko message

Zuko:hey, Sokka told me what happened with your dad yesterday. Why don't I take you on a date too get your mind off things?

Katara:sure, that would be nice. Thanks for caring about me ☺️

Zuko: yeah, no problem I'll pick you up at 8:00 sounds good?

Katara: yeah, I'll see you later then

I got up from my bed and went downstairs to have breakfast and I saw my brother having breakfast"shouldn't you be with your new bff and his lover"I said walking into the kitchen "he left with Malina no thanks to you" he responded sounding like he was getting annoyed"dad is trying to fix his mistakes katara,at least give him a chance" he said getting up from his chair, laying both of his hands on my shoulder"I gave him four fucking years too fix his mistakes, it's too late now" I said turning around, pouring coffee into my coffee mug"katara please just try" he said"Sokka please, you weren't the one who had to grow up and take care of the family because your father was too much off a pussy to do it, so just leave me alone,you may forgiven him because I technically filled in for him for years so you didn't really feel like he was gone,but I did. Do you know how fucking hard it was crying myself to sleep hoping he would come back,I didn't even have time for myself because I was so busy taking of you and Gran Gran. So can you please just leave me alone"I said almost on the verge of crying "I'm sorry katara I didn't know you felt that way, I'm sorry I'll give you your space" he said"thank you"I said, I went up to my room with my cup of coffee in my hand.

I finished my coffee while watching some Tik toks,I went into the bathroom did my daily routine and I put on some clothes,I wore something comfortable since I wasn't planning on going anywhere till later this evening.

*Time skip to later that afternoon. Time:3:09 pm

After hours of watching Netflix and Tik toks, scrolling through Instagram I decided to go the library and read some books. I have already read all the books I had. I went out of the house and I decided too walk to the library to clear my head,it wasn't far like ten minutes walk I arrived at the library and immediately went to the romance section. I found a couple of books that seems interesting and I started reading one of them. 20 minutes after I started reading my book I was someone walking with two other girls they got closer and I immediately recognized them , Koko a blonde hair girl that was wearing a very bright pink was in the middle with two of her other minions at her back"what are you doing here katara" she said crossing her arms "awwwn Barbie doesn't know what a library is"(A/N I know koko isn't blonde I just made her blonde so katara could have a sweet come back) I said giving her a fake pout ,then she scoffed"you know the real question should be what are you doing Here? cause I know you're brain isn't strong enough to understand any of the books here, the only thing you know how to do is too have sex with Evey guy you come across" I said getting up then her two friends giggled,she gave them a death glare "well at least I have a mother, yours probably commited suicide because you were a horrible daughter"she said and her two friends laughed"shhhh" the librarian said.
