I sat on the edge of the bed watching Levi meticulously putting on his uniform, admiring every curve and contortion of his muscular figure. The warm morning light filled the room, casting a welcoming yellow hue as the sun continued to rise for the day.
Standing up, I made my way over to him as he was fastening his cravat around his neck. My fingers found their way up to his cravat, taking over for him. He blinked but didn't protest. We hadn't said a word to each other since waking up. I handled the white fabric with gentle care as I fastened it around his neck, carefully layering the fabric into place. I could feel his gaze glued to my face while I worked.
Finally I tugged on his collar and smoothed the leather of his jacket along his chest before running my hands over his shoulders. My eyes flickered to meet his gaze. His dejected expression bore into mine for several moments. I gave him a slight nod, stepping aside to allow him to walk to the door. With a quick smooth over of my own jacket, I followed him out the door.
Upon entering the hallway of the Officers' Quarters, I caught Hange leaving her room from the corner of my eye. Levi stopped to look over at her. She stopped in her tracks and gave us a sly smile.
"What is it, four eyes?" Levi asked dryly.
"Oh, nothing~ Have fun last night?" She replied.
Levi clicked his tongue, ignoring her question and continued down the hallway, walking passed her. I sauntered behind him, stopping next to Hange.
"Shall we go?" She asked me, tilting her head to meet my gaze.
"Ready when you are."

I galloped my horse, riding down the line of congregating soldiers along the base of Wall Rose. Wagons with materials containing medical supplies, camping materials, gas and blade resupply, and rations were being lifted to the top of the wall. Horses were next to be lifted and descended to the other side. To make the trip short, we're hauling everything over the wall manually before departing this evening since the gate to Trost was permanently shut.
Our group consists of 100 soldiers for the mission. It's not many by any means... but Erwin took what he could get.
Hange was riding beside me as we inspected the scene.
"Careful of those thunder spears!" She squeaked as she saw the weaponry being loaded onto a wagon.
"Yes, section commander!" A soldier responded.
She shifted on her horse, squirming and groaning with anxiety as she watched the soldiers handle the weapons.
"One wrong move and this whole mission will explode with them," Hange grumbled.
