What if Hajime caught the Despair Disease instead of Nagito?

I stare at the ceiling, unable to sleep. I'd spent the rest of the day with Seiko Kimura, the former Ultimate Pharmacist, combining our talents to try to create a medicine to help Nagito and the others wake up faster. We eventually managed to make a drug that work, but wouldn't wake them up immediately. It could still take up to three months to have them be fully conscious, and that's if nothing goes wrong. If they go a single day without having the drug go into their body, it could delay the process for up to a month.
Afterwards, I'd gone to Makoto and he'd told me that before I decide where to stay, I could stay in Toko's room. It's surprisingly bare, with only a bed, a wardrobe and a desk with some scissors that I made sure not to get my fingerprints on.
Three hours later, I'm still awake. Just as I'm starting to drift off, I get startled by a knock on my door. Not bothering to switch my light on, I open the door to see the silhouette of a short person I hadn't seen before standing in the doorway.
Wait, they aren't short, they're... sitting?
The person giggles. 'Hello Mr Izuru! It's been a while, hasn't it?'
'Uhm,' I say nervously, 'Just... call me Hajime...'
The voice sounded more feminine, and kind of like... a child's?
'Oh, sorry!' they say, 'Anyway Hajime, have you seen Mr Servant anywhere?'
'Servant?'
'His name is something like... Nagito?' they say unsurely, 'Eh, I don't care. Do you know where he is?'
'Why do you want to know?' I ask uneasily.
The child sighs. 'Hmph! Is it so bad for a girl to want to see her friend?'
'Well...' I say, thinking of a plan, 'Just... wait here... I'll go get him...'
'Hehe! Thanks Mr Izu- I mean Hajime!'
'Wait, let me just turn on a light first...' I mutter, flicking the switch.
Light illuminates the hallway as I see my worst nightmare...
