Future Foundation or Towa City?
I pace around the library, thinking. I can't decide where to stay, and since the Ultimate Impostor isn't showing any signs of waking up, I'm going to have to make the decision myself. I'd already decided not to go back to Jabberwock island. I feel like it contains too many bad memories.
Makoto had told me about what life's like at Future Foundation. It's all about trying to undo everything Junko did and bringing the world out of ruin. Makoto also said that they're rebuilding Hope's Peak Academy, and that when it's built, me and the other Remnants of Despair could join if we wanted to.
Staying at Future Foundation would mean getting closer with the survivors of the first killing game and getting to know the other Future Foundation workers.
If we were to go to Towa City, we would stay with Toko and Komaru, who I had met over a video call a few hours ago. They seem nice enough, and I'd also found out that Toko is also the serial killer Genocider Syo, so that would be interesting.
Komaru had said that they had seen the Warriors of Hope around the city.
Even though the group of children used to work with Junko, they seemed to have turned their backs on despair and killing adults.
Toko and Komaru are trying to find the Warriors of Hope to look after them and help them recover from their trauma.
My train of thought gets interrupted by Byakuya walking into the room. 'Hajime, come with me.'
We exit the library and he leads me to the room I woke up in.
'Huh?' I ask, 'Why are we in here?'
I notice there are other glass pods in the room. My heart skips a beat as I walk towards the nearest one and see Nagito inside. He almost looks like he's asleep...
I suddebly get overwhelmed by despair. His hand...
Where his left hand should be, in place was a hand that I recognised as Junko's.
I get startled by a hand on my shoulder and turn me head to see ...Byakuya?
'Look, I'm not good at this comforting stuff, but Makoto's trying to teach me.'
I smile at his attempt at a kind gesture. 'Thanks...' I step away from the pod, 'So why did you bring me here?'
'Well, if we left everyone to naturally wake up, it could take years for Nagito to wake,' he said gently, trying to be nice, 'So I thought that you could use one of your talents to speed up the process.'
'Really?' I say hopefully, 'That's... Is that possible? And how would I do it?'
Byakuya smiles. 'You'll figure it out. Good luck.'
Then he walks away, leaving me alone.
Byakuya Pov
I hope I've done the right thing. Makoto had told me to make friends with Hajime and I'd figured that this is the best way to do it.
Me and the others had taken turns watching over the simulation to make sure nothing went wrong. I have to admit, I'd seen some... interesting things... but I'd also learnt a lot about the participants of the killing game.
For example, how Gundham sings his hamsters to sleep, or how much Hajime cared for Nagito. Seeing his face after Nagito's death was enough to make me feel despair.
Hopefully they'll see each other again soon...

So, Jabberwock island is out! Hajime and the others won't be returning there. But the question is, are they going to Towa City or staying at Future Foundation? Since it was a tie last time, I'm letting you vote again!'
So, comment here: Should they stay at Future Foundation or go to Towa city?
