Training with Kakashi

The following day Team 7 and Kakashi can be found outside in the forest next to the house.

"Now it's time to train you guys in chakra control," Kakashi stated.

"But Kakashi, we can already use chakra!" Naruto complained.

"Not effectively. You use chakra, but you run out of it too fast because you aren't using it properly. You use way too much chakra to do your techniques, but by training your chakra control, you can use just the right amount of chakra so that you don't run out of chakra too fast... Now, this exercise, you must... climb a tree." Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura looked at Kakashi, wondering if he was being serious.

"We can already climb trees, Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto shouted.

"The catch to this is that you can't use your hands," Kakashi stated, making Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura's eyes widen in surprise.

"But sensei, that's impossible!" Sakura cried out.

"Is it?" Kakashi said with a smirk beneath his mask. He then walked over to a tree before stopping and channeling chakra into his feet. He then placed one foot on the tree and proceeded to walk up the tree before stepping onto a branch hanging upside down. 

"You channel chakra into your feet to create a suction effect allowing you to stick to the tree. Too much, and you'll break the tree; too little, and you won't stick." He threw four kunai into the ground in front of each team member. "Use those to mark your progress."

Raiden ignored the kunai on the ground and calmly walked up to a tree and, without stopping, walked up the tree with no problem before walking back down. Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto watched him do this in surprise, while Kakashi smiled slightly.

"I see you've already learned this exercise, Raiden. Well, then, it looks like I'll be teaching you something different." Kakashi went back to the ground and created a shadow clone. "Raiden, follow me. I'm going to teach you something else, and my shadow clone will stay here to oversee the other's training."

Kakashi and Raiden walked off until they were in a different area of the forest next to the lake and away from the others. Once they stopped, Kakashi turned to Raiden, "This should be far enough. Ok, Raiden, I've decided to teach you some Ninjutsu. Now, did you copy the water techniques from the fight yesterday? (Raiden nodded) Good, now we will work on those techniques so that you can use them without using a ton of chakra. It helps that you have an affinity for water... The first one you should try is the water clone, go ahead and give it a shot."

Raiden nodded, turned to the water, and began making the hand signs for the water clone Jutsu. Once he finished, the water in front of him came up and made a clone of himself; once he was done, he was sweating slightly. "that was more difficult than I thought." he commented.

Kakashi chuckled at this, "Don't worry, you haven't trained to use your water affinity, so it will be difficult to learn at first."

~4 Hours Later~

Raiden trained for the next 4 hours on using his water affinity and found that it became easier the more he used it. After 4 hours, Raiden had perfected the water clone and the water prison Jutsu.

"Good job Raiden; you now have two water Jutsu under your belt. Now I want you to do the first exercise for water and earth affinity chakra control. For water, you need to soak a leaf, and for earth, you need to turn a leaf into dirt. Train with those until the end of the day." Kakashi said, and Raiden nodded before picking up a leaf and sitting down on the ground to do the exercise.

At the end of the day, Raiden had been able to soak a leaf completely and only partially turn the leaf into dirt.

~Day 2~
