It's the 3rd day in the hospital, so that means I only have 2 more days left for them to find new lungs for me before I die.

I also signed DNR papers. (Do Not Resuscitate) I don't want to be hooked up to machines who are living for me. I don't have the heart to tell anyone though. I know I'll eventually have to, to prepare them, but I know it'll hurt them. Especially Agreste. He's the last person I want to hurt but he's also the first one who deserves to know.

Also there's still no sign of my parents. I was really hoping they'd still care about me, but I guess it was dumb of me to hope for that. They did disown me after all. I'm no longer their daughter. To them I'm now a stranger that happens to share their blood.

I don't feel so good right now so I'll write in this later. Bye Journal! -Marinette <3

I feel something start to burn in my throat. I start coughing and Tikki runs to my side. "Plagg get the tray!" She shouts as the blood spills out. Plagg quickly grabs the tray and put it under my mouth.

"What happened?" Adrien asks as he rushes back into the room. They ignore his question as I continue coughing.

When I finish, Tikki wipes my mouth once again. "I thought we had 4 more days, so why are the stages happening more often?" Adrien asks as he takes my hand.

Tikki and Plagg stay quiet and look at me. I quickly shake my head as I lean back in the bed. "This is normal for someone in her condition." Tikki lies. Adrien sighs of relief and sits beside me in the bed.

"Oh I think we forgot to tell you guys the good news." Adrien says. "Good news?" Plagg asks. Adrien smiles and nods. "We're engaged." He says. Both of them smile.

"That's amazing!" Plagg says. "I'm so happy for you two." "Thank you." Adrien and I say. "Um can I talk to Marinette for a second please?" Tikki asks. Adrien nods and walks out of the room.

"You need to tell him." "I- I can't." I struggle to say. "You guys are engaged Marinette. Since you two are planning on getting married, you can't lie to him." I nod. "You're right. I just... don't want him to be worried more than he has to be. He's going to be even more hurt when he finds out."

"Finds out what?" He asks as he walks back into the room. "Sorry I forgot my phone in here and I need it to call my parents to let them know how you're doing." "It's okay." I say.

"What were you talking about?" "Nothing important." "Marinette-" Tikki starts. "They were just updating me on the transplant. Still nothing." "Don't worry you'll get them soon." He says as he lays beside me again.

"Marinette!" "Fine, I'll tell him." I clear my throat and he turns to me with a worried expression. "We'll give you some space." They say and walk out.

"It turns out that I have less time than we thought. I only have 2 more days to get the transplant or I'm going to die." "Only 2?" "I also signed a DNR." "What? No!" "Agreste- " "Why would you do that? There has to be another way!" "Adrien-" "I can't loose you Mari." He sobs. "Adrien-"

"A DNR Mari?" "Adrien if this doesn't work I don't want to live by machines." "It'll work! I- I can't loose you." He says as he gently pulls me into a hug. "It'll be okay. You'll be okay." "I need you Mari." "You have me Agreste. I'm right here." A tear slides down my cheek.

~Adrien~
"I can't loose you." "You wo-" She starts. Her body becomes lifeless in my arms and her head falls back. "Mari?" I say as I pull back slightly to look at her. Her vitals start beeping. "Marinette?" I say and shake her slightly as I lay her in the bed.

I start chest compressions. After what happened last time I took a class so I can know what to do if it ever happens again. "Mari look at me. Open your eyes!" I look down at her hoping her eyelids will open to show her beautiful bluebell eyes, but nothing. No response.

"Tikki! Plagg!" They rush into the room. "What are you doing?" "She can't die! Not yet! We're going to get married!" "Adrien she signed a DNR." "Shut up Tikki!" I shout instantly regretting it. "She knew this would happen that's why she signed it." Plagg adds. "I don't give a crap what she signed!"

"Adrien this is not what she wants." Tikki says. Her vitals start going flat. "Get a crash cart!" I shout at them. "Adrien if she doesn't-" "Look at her! Get the crash cart!" I shout as I pump her chest. "Please." I beg.

Tikki and Plagg stand there for a second looking at each other. "Screw the DNR! Hand me those paddles." Plagg says and the nurses push the cart over to the side of her bed. Tikki walks over to me and gently pulls me away. I back up and she starts doing chest compressions.

Soon the room is filled with nurses and doctors trying to bring her back. "Please don't leave me. Please, please, please." I lean against the wall and slide down as the sobs escape.

"Charge to 300! Clear!" Plagg says. Her vitals stay the same and Tikki continues chest compressions. "Mari" I sob. "Come on. Come on!" Tikki shouts.

As I sit on the floor watching the whole room goes silent. The only thing I hear is the ringing of her vitals...
