"Marinette before you leave we want to talk to you." Tikki says. I nod and follow her and Plagg into a room. "With your permission, we would like to put you on the transplant list." "Transplant?" Tikki nods. "Since your lung cancer is really severe, the only way you might be able to survive is if you get entirely new lungs. The surgery is high-risk and there is a chance that the cancer could come back but it could work." Plagg says.
"It won't be definite that you would get the lung by the time you need it. With how severe your cancer is you should've been on the list a long time ago." Tikki says. "You're last doctor is an idiot for not considering it." "How long does the wait usually take?" "It can be anywhere from 3 months to a few years."
"What do you think? You want a transplant?" Plagg asks. "I don't know. People need the lungs more than me." "Take time to think about it. We can put you on the list and if you do get the lungs, you can decide if you want the transplant or not." "I'm still not so sure about this." "Just think it over." I nod and walk out of the room.
"What was that about?" Adrien asks as I walk over to him and his family. "They want to put me on the transplant list." "Mari that's great!" "I- I don't know. There's a lot of people out there who need it more than me. I need to think about it." "But it can give you more time. It can give us more time." He says as he takes my hand. "I can't be selfish Agreste. And there's no guarantee that it can work. They said the surgery is really high risk and my cancer can come back. It's not even guaranteed that I'd get the lung. It can take anywhere from 3 months to a few years."
"Whatever you decide, we'll support you Marinette." Emilie says. "Thank you." I say and give her a smile. "Don't try to pressure her into making a decision Adrien. This is something she has to decide on her own. She can't let anything or anyone influence her choice." Gabriel adds. Adrien sighs and nods his head. "I'm here to support your choice no matter what." "Thank you Agreste." I say and kiss his cheek.

As soon as we get home I run to the bathroom and throw up. "Mari?" Adrien comes in and pulls my hair back. "Should we go back to the doctors?" I shake my head. "It's the chemo. Sometimes it makes me nauseous." He nods and grabs a napkin to wipe my mouth with. "I can do it Agreste." I say as I reach for the napkin. He pulls his hand away. "No I got it." He says as he finishes wiping my mouth.
After I brush my teeth Adrien helps me walk over to the bed. "Want something to eat?" "No I'm fine. I think I'm just going to take a nap." He nods and lays beside me. He wraps his arm around me and I rest my head on his chest. "You know you don't have to stay here right? I'll be fine." "You're always saying you're fine Mari. It's getting hard to believe it's actually true." He says as he strokes my hair. It's so relaxing and I feel my eyelids get heavy. "It's because I am fine." I yawn.
~Adrien~
"You don't have to pretend Mari. It's okay to not be fine. You can talk to me. I'll always be here for you." I say and get no response. "Mari?" Still no response. I hear her quietly snore and I chuckle. "It always amazes me how fast you fall asleep." I say as I continue to stroke her hair.As I look down at her I realize how deeply in love with her I am. I smile as I take in all her features. She's so beautiful. I'm so lucky to be able to call her mine. I'm the luckiest guy in the world. I feel her shift a little in my arms. This is the first time I realized how little time I have left. Just 3 more months? How will I live without her? I need her. She's my oxygen and my whole reason to live. Without her I'm not me. There's no way I can be Adrien Agreste without Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
"You really love her don't you?" I look up and see my mom standing in the door way, smiling. "More than anything." I say as I look back down at Marinette. She walks over and wipes a tear off my face. I didn't even realize I was crying. "Come, your father and I want to talk with you." I nod. As I start to get up I feel Marinette tighten her grip on my shirt. "Can we talk after she wakes up?" She shakes her head. "We don't want her to overhear. It need to be a surprise." I nod and gently remove her hand, making sure I don't wake her up.
"Adrien, how would you feel if Marinette moved in with us?" My father asks. My eyes widen. "R- really? You'd let her live here with us?" "Of course we would Adrien. She's very important to all of us and we can't have her considering to live alone. She needs people to be there with her and we want to be those people." My mom says. I turn my head to my father as he starts talking.
"But we want to make sure that everyone in this family is okay with it." "Okay with it? I'm more than okay with it. Words can't describe how happy I am!" "Don't get too excited. We aren't going to ask her to live here yet. We want to make it a surprise and do it in a special way." "What kind of surprise?" "Wait and see." I nod.

A/N: Sorry if any of the information is wrong in this. I tried looking stuff up so it would make sense but everything just confused me. Anyways this is just another filler chapter. There MIGHT be a few more filler chapters after this one but I'm not 100% sure yet. If there are it'll just be 1 or 2 chapters.
