*The video is Finn^^ *

Catra was placed down into her chair at the dining table and was told by Adora to wait. Finn was beside her, dancing in place and happy. Then, the blonde practically flew out the apartment door.

"Mommy, this is going to be the best birthday party. Me and Adora planned it all— Oops." They covered their mouth at the last part and their eyes grew wide. Catra raised her eyebrow, giving what was called, her " mom glare" at the kid.

"Yeah, I wasn't supposed to say that." They said sheepishly, tail lowering between their legs.

"C'mon Finn, it's my birthday. You can't tell me?" She said, giving her child pleading eyes. They glanced from the door to her face, not knowing what to do.

They sighed and came closer to the table. The magicat put a hand to side of their face and leaned forward whispering in Catra's ear, "Me and Adora have been meeting during lunch all week to prepare for your party today."

Catra moved and made eye contact with her offspring, a crazed look in her eyes. "Really?"

They nodded and their tail went back to its lazy swish.

"She didn't tell me about the Switch though, so who knows what else she has under her sleeve!" They said, excited.

Catra slowly nodded and chuckled. What was she in for?

"I'm back! And I brought cake and more gifts!" Adora said sing songy. Finn went over to lock the door back up as the blonde made her way over to Catra. She put the things down and leaned down to kiss Catra.

That's so weird. Catra was stressing on how to make Finn and Adora's relationship separate from school, but turns out, it happened naturally.

"Okay! So first, we're going to sing happy birthday. And then we'll eat cake. Later, we'll open presents, and tada! Birthday!" The blonde said excitedly. It was very evident how much she planned. And it seemed she was sweating too. Maybe it was from the joy or laborious run to her car.

"That sounds great. Finn, can you grab three plates for mommy? And some forks too?" She asked Finn. They nodded curtly and went on with the tasks.

She looked over to Adora who was going through some kind of mental checklist in her head.

"Babe, come over here and sit with the birthday girl." She said, pulling a chair out for Adora. She was pulled from her thoughts and came over happily to sit next to her. "Are you enjoying this so far?"

They had hung up streamers and banners while Catra was getting dressed, it looked like a real birthday party.

" I love it." She said and stared into pale blue eyes. Adora grabbed her hand and rubbed the back of it with her thumb.

The moment was cut abruptly when Finn came in with the plates and plasticware. They gave each one to each party member, and sat down. Adora sat up and brought the cake over to Catra, opening the box and revealing an ornate cake with swirls and edible beads.

"Damn." Catra said, peering over the white box.

Adora gently scooped it out of the container and placed it in front of Catra. "For the birthday girl." Catra felt tears well up, she didn't want to cry, but it was hard not to. Finn was here, all grown up. And Adora... sweet Adora was here. Here for her.

"I love it, thanks." She said, sniffing a little.

Truth is, she was never given a proper birthday party. Ever. She loved cards made by her baby and coworkers, but this was different.
