Catra waited for her kid to come out of the school. She listened to the radio and watched the clock. Her car was parked on the curb in front of the school, waiting semi- impatient.

Then, like always, she heard a knock at her window, but was disappointed to see it wasn't her Adora or Finn. It was one of the PTO moms. Ugh.

She rolled the window down and smiled as sweetly as she could.

"Hi, Catra." The red haired woman crooned, obviously faking her kindness.

"Hi, Kourtney." She said, her tone peachy. The woman was joined by three others, as if by magic. It was her entourage.

"Hello." She greeted the other woman, not knowing their names, and not caring. They waved at her, small smiles on their faces. They all had the different variations of the same outfit on, with Kourtney wearing red to match her hair.

"So, we haven't seen you at any of the meetings lately?" Kourtney said, tilting her head impishly. Catra's ears twitched and she gripped her steering wheel. Obviously she hadn't, she hadn't even been invited to the damn thing.

"Oh, I must've missed the memo." She retorted, her grin friendly. She knew how to play this game, they weren't going to win.

Kourtney put a hand on her chest and fake gasped. "Oh! Well, you have got to come to the next meeting, it would be nice to hear your input. You know, there's a bake sale going on soon." She supplied, looking down at Catra from her place outside of her car.

"How do I sign up?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. And the group shot her crazy looks, then they laughed. In her face.

"No, silly! There's not a sign up sheet. This isn't theatre auditions. Just come to room 307 tomorrow at 5." The rest of the group snickered and covered their mouths at Kourtney's comment.

Catra's ears went flat on her head and her face screwed up. She wasn't used to getting berated by grown ass adults, as an adult. This was humiliating. Then, she sighed and leaned outside of her window.

"Okay, yeah. I'll be there." Catra announced, confidence growing again. She could do it.

"Great! And there's a smaaall $40 fee when you join, but that's okay with you?" She said, exaggerating on the word small, stretching it out.

Catra shook her head. "No, not a problem."

Kourtney smirked and clapped her hands. "Perfect! I'll see you there..." Her words trailed off and her eyes went somewhere above her car. She turned around and saw Adora and Finn walk up to her car.

"Hi, Principal Grayskull! How are you doing today?" The redhead asked, chipper and fully focused. Adora, on the other side of the car, opened the front seat for Finn to sit in and then the back for the backpack.

"I'm good, how are you?" She asked, shutting the door and walking over to where they were standing. Catra eyed the interaction with curiosity, her eyebrows raised. The conversation continued, and dragged on, Adora looking like she was bored out of her mind.

"... so we ended up having to get new cleats in the first place! Isn't that crazy?" She laughed, placing a hand on Adora's shoulder as she did. The blonde woman glanced at Catra from her spot and shot her a "help me" look.

"Um, Kourtney? I think Principal Grayskull had something to tell me about my kid." She said, trying to get the woman away from Adora.

She widened her eyes and giggled, a way too fake giggle, and swept her hair off her shoulder. "Oh, ok. I'll leave you to it!" Kourtney said, shoving Adora playfully and walking away, her minions following her.
