Surprisingly, Keefe made it to the house with the green door without a hassle. The house stood about four stories high at the end of a deserted street. It's layout matched that of an average human house, save for the fact that the door was circular, instead of rectangular.

That was new. he noted. Didn't the house have a rectangular door the last time?

Keefe shook his head. The shape of the door didn't matter. What mattered was finding a way inside....but how? The case file hadn't exactly stated clearcut directions on how to contact Phoenix.

Keefe thought for a moment, then pulled out the phoenix charm and pointed it towards the door with a flourish. Nothing happened. Okkkkk? Maybe you had to press it to the door, instead of simply pointing the charm at the building.

Taking the charm, he started across the street. Once he reached the door, he took a furtive glance around, making sure no one was watching, then pressed it to the door.

Or at least, tried to. Before he could even move his hand he felt the telltale touch of cold steel at his throat. Keefe froze, hardly daring to move.

"You have fifteen seconds to tell me where and how you got that charm." his attacker commanded.

A cold wave of fear washed over Keefe. What had he gotten himself into now?
