*KHENT's POV:
"Hey, Reign!" After I saw how she turned her back at me, I immediately ran the distance between us.
"Reign!" I shouted hoping to get her attention because we're 10 meters far from each other.
And finally, I'm almost behind her back, "Reign~" I can feel my sweats on my face, I'm finally behind Reign.
I stared at her back for 10 minutes yet she's still starstrucked. Her shoulders went up and down...she sighed and slowly turn her face at me
"Reign, what happened? Why didn't you waved back at me?" I can feel despair in her eyes, she's holding back her tears
"Huh? Waved back? When?"
"Moments ago, didn't you saw me waved my hand to you?"
"Uhh, no. Ngayon lang kita nakita ulit mula no'ng lumabas ako ng classroom."
'Then why are you holding back your tears?' I badly want to say those words but I know she'll just flip those words into something convincing saying, 'I'm okay.'
"Let's go?" She just nodded. I don't know what's with her but I'm sure, there's something bothering her
*REIGN's POV:
Heart's beating fast that I can almost hear it. Tears are holding back, I'm lucky I hid it from him. Why am I so affected with what I saw? Yes, I saw him from up here talking to a girl. Hindi ko alam ang pinag-usapan nila pero bakit kumirot ang puso ko?
'No!'
'Stop being dramatic!'
I want to wave back at him, I almost did...but turning my back was the thing I've done.
"Did I just got jealous?"
"Jealous from whom?"
My eyes literally widen upon hearing Khent's voice. N-narinig niya? Hala, Reign! Ang bobo mo! Bakit naman kasi nasabi mo nang malakas!
"Walaaa. Nainggit lang ako do'n sa babaeng may hawak ng portrait. Sanaol nabibigyan ng drawing 'no?"
'Geez! Maniwala ka sa'kin, Khent.'
"Bakit pa drawing ang hinggin mo kung pwede namang ipa-laminate na lang 'di ba?".
"Mas special kasi 'pag drawing. Of course, there's an effort in it."
"Oh, I get your point."
Napatigil kami sa pag-uusap nang biglang nag-ring ang cellphone ni Khent.
"Si kuya."
"Sagutin mo na, baka importante?"
Tumabi na kami sa hallway para 'di kami makasagabal sa mga ibang students.
"Kuya? Napatawag ka?"
"Si mommy, something happened to her."
"What? Text mo sa'kin location, kuya. Susunod kami ni ate Reign."
"Okay, I'm on my way too."
Binaba na ni Khent ang cellphone niya at malamyang tumingin sa'kin.
"What happened?"
"Si mommy, may nangyari sa kanya."
Magsasalita pa lang sana ako pero agad na niyang hinila ang palapulsuhan ko.
"Jusme, Khent! Hinay-hinay sa pag-drive! Baka 'di tayo maka-abot do'n nang buhay!" I shouted to Khent because his motorcycle's engine is too loud.
"Sorry~" I patted his shoulder.
We're roaming our sight at the place where the incident happened. It's all in normal position, no policemen, no trace of Mrs. Teleonore.
"Nasa'n na sila?"
"Hindi ko alam, Khent. Someone just texted me...it's an unknown number."
"Maniwala ka sa unknown number, kuya? Baka mamaya scam lang 'yon."
"I think I can see Mrs. Teleonore now...with a guy."
"With a guy? Where?" Nyx asked.
"Tara," aya ko sa kanila at naunang naglakad.
Hindi pa kami naka-lalapit kina Mrs. Teleonore ay bigla na lang sumigaw si Khent. Jusko! "Sino kaaa? Layuan mo mommy koooo!" Tho, I found it cute. Ang cute niyang tumakbo pfft!
"Stop, Khent. He's not a stranger, he's our father."
Khent and I gasp in no time. Siya 'yong laging na-k-kwento ni Nyx sa'kin mula noong mga bata pa kami.
"F-father?" Nyx nodded. "But mom said father's already oqbfuehfbsk." Nyx hurriedly covered his mouth, pfft! They're cute!
"Ahm, Tito...napa'no po si Mrs. Teleonore?"
"Muntik na siyang mabangga kanina. I'm lucky I saw her and immediately ran after her. She's on my arms when she lost her self...nahimatay siya sa nerbyos."
"Thank you, dad."
"Welcome, son. You already know how much I love your mom that I can't even take my eyes away from her."
"What do you mean po?" three of us asked.
"I'm putting an eye in each and everyone of you...including you Reign."
My mouth drops in disbelief. Come again?
