*NYX's POV:
Sitting on the comfy couches that were arranged on circle, mom and dad are sitting together on a double couch with conscience looks. There they go again. Aren't they going to fix their misunderstandings?
My eyes landed on Reign who's sitting beside Khent. Khent beside me who's also staring at Reign. My shoulders went up and down and looked back to my parents.
'Khent's inlove with Reign, I'm sure of that.'
Mom and dad are now talking with each other but their eyes are looking in parted ways. Pfft! Just like teenagers. I don't really hate mom, yeah...I said it once but it just comes naturally because I missed my father.
I know they can fix their misunderstandings, trust me. One time, I saw my mother caressing my dad's picture...I even heard her whispered his name. So trust me.
I look back at Reign, who's still sitting innocently on the couch, 'She's beautiful.'
"Where are you going?" Khent asked that made me look at him. Reign shifted her sight on me before answering Khent. Uhh?
"I'm going to fix something," she said and excused herself to Mom and Dad.
I set an alarm for 2 minutes so that I can follow Reign. My heart-my heart's pounding fast, faster than before, damn!
"Excuse me, mom and dad, Khent...I'm just going to answer this call from my adviser." I took the long way so that they won't notice me that I followed Reign.
"Why am I doing this anyway?" I asked to myself as I am roaming my eyes around hoping to find Reign. There she is, sitting on the backyard's stairs-hugging her knees while head's down to the ground.
"Are you okay? I thought you'll going to fix something?"
Reign was taken aback, that's why she quickly stand and look at me intently. "Why did you followed me, Nyx?"
"I asked, are you okay?"
"I-i don't know. Why are you asking me?"
I'm at the upper stairs, she's at the lower. I stepped down slowly and she didn't move a bit, making me to make a smile. My left foot make its way down to Reign.
"S-stop! Don't move. Stay where you are, Nyx."
"Why?"
"Because I'm confused, Nyx! I don't know what to feel, I don't know what to do and I don't know if I'll run away!"
I hurriedly walk down to her and pulled her immediately 'round my arms. The thought of pushing me away from her turns out to be untrue; she cried into my chest.
"What happened, Reign?" I asked as I caress her hair. I heard no reply from her, "Reign?"
"Uhn~"
"Pfft!"
I look down to the woman who's head is on my chest...she's fallen asleep and it's making her cute-well, as always. I slowly carried her and head our way to her room.
That day she entered our place, I was there in my room, looking at her from there.
I got mesmerized from her smile and how she wears it. But then, my emotions got up. I lost my temper that time. Jealousy is all I felt that day, because that girl, which is Reign will took my place. I wanted to babysit my brother. I don't want him to feel what I felt towards our mom.
So I took a step backwards and begun to pick things and thrown it on my room's wall. Days had past and I started to see changes on her. Her dirty skin was slowly changed into glooming one. There's something in her that I need to find out.
I stared at her face after laying her in the bed. I even saw her lips moved and it's making me goosebumps! I started removing her ID and her shoes, there's no malice if I'm doing these right? But what caught my attention is her uniform.
"What happened, Reign? Why is your uniform wet? Hayst!"
"Have you been in trouble?" I was about to remove her uniform when I realized something.
'I'm a man.'
'I must not do this without her permission.'
"But her uniform is wet. What if she'll be sick?"
'Arg!' I sit beside her with my trembling hands. I even swallowed the lump in my throat making my Adam's apple move.
"Darn, Nyx!"
I had no choice, her uniform must get off from her body.
*REIGN's POV:
"Choose a man, not a boy. Always remember that, Reign hmm?"
"Yes, papa!"
"Choose a man like your papa, sweety. When we were in highschool, I have many suitors tailing my back everywhere I go-but I still chose your papa who did everything just to make me happy."
"Can you tell me your love story, mama, papa?"
"Sure sweety."
My eyebrows creased when everything went white. I slowly open my eyes and the sweet scent of my room welcomes me.
"I was with Nyx before I fell asleep." I scrutinized my body only to see that I am not wearing my uniform. How come?
"I was with Nyx before I fell asleep. I was with Nyx before I fell asleep! That dimwit!"
I stepped down from my bed with fiery face. My dignity! My dignity, damn!
"NYYYYYX!" I shouted as I am heading down the stairs.
"NYYYYYYX! ARE YOU THE ONE WHO CHANGED MY CLOTHESSSSsss-" My voice descended as I realized I'm in the kitchen while the whole Ditter family is eating.
'What have you done, Reign?'
"What? Kuya changed your clothes?" Khent with his unbelievable tone. Is he mad?
"Uhh-I'm sorry hehe," I said and I sit next to Mrs. Teleonore. Nyx's sitting infront of me that's why I can't even lay my eyes on him.
'What the hell!'
Mr. Ditter is sitting on the center chair while Mrs. Teleonore is sitting on the left chair where my seat was before. Khent and Mrs. Teleonore are sitting directly while Nyx and I are sitting directly too.
They asked me different questions but Nyx and Khent are still silent. Gosh! What have I done!
