TW- PANIC ATTACK/VIOLENCE
WC- 1111
He stands expressionless now pulling out what seems to be flint and steel. "If you don't cooperate, I'll have to burn you out myself."
I decide to hide my face away from the male's sight, so he can't read my thoughts. There were no surrounding trees I could easily jump to. Maybe I can throw one of my knives at him, hoping to hit him. That's risky. It could kill him if I hit a specific vein and whatnot.
I really am screwed. I can't come up with a better idea than just talking my way out of this. How bad can 'cooperate with the enemy' be then? "I'm listening," I announce in a breath. By the way I speak, anyone could tell I'm scared.
"What are you doing outside of your land?" He questions, ready to strike at any given lie.
It was a simple question. It was a question I could answer without attempting to stutter a lie. "I was collecting wood," I answer, not giving up much information at all. I was still cooperative, so I assume he cannot do anything against that.
"You were collecting wood," he hums at my statement. "Explain why you were out and about on our territory then. You have plenty of trees in your land as is."
He caught me there. We do have quite a few trees in L'Manburg, but cutting them down would ruin our scenery, but saying that would only tempt Dream to ruin that for us. "Your name wasn't on them so I thought they were no one's territory."
He positions the flint just above a spot of dry grass. He seems annoyed at my sarcasm. "How much of our conversation did you hear?" Dream yells as Sapnap finally caught up. Sapnap lets out wheezes for breaths and keeps balance by using Dream's shoulders.
"Enough," I pause, thinking of what to say next. "Enough to know that you are a weak, selfish human who only craves power. Power over the lives of innocent people."
He's about to strike the flint until I stop him by climbing down the tree. "Do what you want, Dream. I just want you to know, you will not win this." I jump the rest of the way down and stand in front of Dream. I flick my pointer finger to his mask. "For as long as I stand, I will fight back. I will fight back till the day I see your weak, pathetic self surrender."
He seems taken aback by my words, but finds his confident posture once more. Dream dusts Sapnap's hand off of his shoulder, "Do you really think that you could get in my mind like that?" Dream backs away from me, facing the opposite of my direction. "Do you think that your measly threats could carve into my skin? These labels you placed on me, do you even know if they're true?"
I step back against the tree in deep thought once again.
Good guy for one second, then here comes Mr. Bad Guy."The day we assassinated the king, our light-hearted conversation, heck, even the night we danced. You were good. Those moments before our people separated into chaos were peaceful, but all you want now is power." My own thoughts overwhelm me. "Or was it all just an act?" I mumble the last part, now zoning out into my own world. What if it all was just an act? All the kind gestures he effortlessly offered back then. Were they all just planned? Was it all just a plan to gain power?
Was there a larger reason for killing the king? Not just for the people, but for his own personal benefit?
A chill spreads from my neck to my feet.
"What if it was?"
My hand grips my knife on the right side of my belt.
"What if it wasn't?"
I slowly slip the knife out of the sleeve of my belt as my hands shake from the tension.
"Maybe I want to be the bad guy."
You want him dead (Y/N).
"Maybe I want to be selfish..."
He wants you dead.
"Have all the power a human could never have..."
He wants your family dead.
"All of that for a few worthless lives..."
Kill him, (Y/N).
"I'd do it in a second."
KILL HIM KILL HIM KILL HIM KILL HIM!
KILL HIM NOW!
As he slowly turns around to face me, I launch myself with fury built in my blood. I lose control of myself entirely, almost as if I'm possessed. My thoughts still rattle in my mind, though. 'My clothing was now stained with the blood of the five attackers...' Why is this feeling so familiar? 'I've gone crazy, I think?' Am I repeating my own history?
My foot plants itself on Dream's chest. My tight grip on the knife never leaves. It's now or never.
Do it, (Y/N). Do it!
What if I don't want to?
Do it or I'll do it myself!
My hand shakes rapidly. Tears find their way to my glistening (E/C) eyes as a small breeze passes through the chilled forest. My breaths are quick. I'm panicking.
A tight grip finds itself on my wrist, forcing me to drop the knife on the ground. I yell. I scream and shout as I attempt to thrust my way out of the powerful grip. "Dream, I need help now!"
The green man jumps from his previous position on the forest floor to help contain my raged self. "I want you dead! Do you hear me, Dream? I'm going to kill you." I shout at the top of my lungs as Dream suddenly wraps his arms around my waist.
"I'm going to kill you," I pause letting out a small sniff. "I'm going to kill you Dream." My knees crumble from below as I drop to the ground. I feel numb, broken, clueless. Why isn't Dream plunging a knife through my heart? Why am I not fighting back?
"We need to get her back to Wilbur." Dream mumbles, looking from me to Sapnap. Sapnap stands still, hesitant in following Dream's demand. "Now, Sapnap! Go!"
The world fades from my sight as I begin to lose all of my senses. I dive into a dark abyss of comfort.
"What was that?" I hear a small mumble from above as leave the world, unconscious.

Fanfiction"Maybe you're right," I mumble. "But I'm done with your bullshit lies. Show me something real instead of all these plastic promises. Why do you even want me alive?" His grip loosens lightly. "You wouldn't get it." "What haven't I got? I seem to be w...
