TW- MANIPULATING/VIOLENCE

WC- 3013

--(Y/N) POV---

"Three days," Dream yelled from across the field in the open gates of L'Manburg. "We, the DreamSMP, want to see white flags."

Surrender is something I could never imagine myself doing. Without putting in an effort to fight for the freedom we desire is selfish and weak. My most trusted allies, the people who surround me, hold their heads up high in honor of our small country. Even if it's small, the people who contribute to the country to make the lands what they are now, make it more powerful than a bullet to the heart. It's like a healing potion, but stronger. The walls that enclose our valued land declare what is ours. It declares that we are separate from the wrath of all evil outside of the walls. Free from power, greed, and wrath. All of which define the side of the DreamSMP.

"I want to see white flags outside of your base in three days' time," Dream pauses to turn to the side, taking out his enchanted netherite sword. "We will show no mercy. We will burn down everything you've ever loved. We will kill off all the traitors you call citizens. L'Manburg will never be a name to remember once I'm done with this place."

Tubbo holds onto Tommy's shoulder in search of reassuring comfort. I don't blame him, the masked man has a way with words. "We will not surrender to your 'SMP'. L'Manburg will stand strong, even if it kills me. The safety of my people comes before anything you and your goons will throw at us," Wilbur spits back at the unbothered green man.

"Three days, Wilbur." Dream says as he begins walking away. "Don't make me change my mind."

"Yeah, bitch! Run back to your boyfriend and pout all you want. We-" I slap my hand over Tommy's mouth before he could continue that sentence.

"Tommy, you're only gonna make him baby-rage even more," I whisper shout at the young blonde. "We don't want to hear any more of his bull-shitted threats."

Tommy nods as I slowly lift my hand for precaution. Wilbur turns around to face the rest of us with a look I have never seen before. He looks scared. Almost as if he had seen his life flash from his eyes. "Now's not the time for jokes; we have a war to prepare for," Wilbur says looking at Tommy and me. "In only seventy-two hours, we will be fighting for our beloved land and freedom."

Tommy and I nod looking back at Tubbo, Fundy, and Eret. They seem to be just as shaken up as Wilbur. "What's the plan, big man?" Tommy questions as we all follow behind Wilbur's lead to the van.

"Armor, weapons, potions, we need it all," Wilbur says as he leads us into the van. Entering the van feels different than it had only minutes ago. We were in the same mindset at that time. But now, all has changed. The fates of our lives are at stake now.

--DREAM POV ---  -- - >   (ONE HOUR EARLIER)

Sapnap was approaching the walls of L'Manburg with each passing stride and the slight crunch of dead leaves that coat the surface. In only seconds he was out of my view. I estimate he will be back with Wilbur in no more than ten minutes. The walls were fairly close from our standing, thankfully.

I look down at the unconscious girl who now rests without a single fear. She rests without a worry about her nation, her life, and her family. But what's coming her way is deserved of her people. They don't deserve to live free of fear. It's life; nothing is perfect. I fiddle with a strand of her (H/C) hair and move it out of her face to present all of her features. For a moment, I forget about all of my threats towards her people. We are neutral for just this moment. No hateful comments make their way to my mind as I look down at her. Well, that was until Wilbur came running in our direction, breathing with rapid breaths. He snatched her from my grasp to check for a pulse and looking for any fatal injuries. There were none, no harm was done at all. Physically at least.
