all the heads turned to the two, a girl who was furiously pulling the unknown guy by the hand and the boy who just blindly gave in without giving two shits about anything.
the eyes shared looks with each other before locking on the two. the sharp piercing gazes broke through Haewon's mind- that's when realisation dawned upon her.
she stood dead in the tracks comprehending what she was actually doing. Renjun who was blindly following her like a puppy who was on leash didn't notice that she had stopped accidentally bumping his chest into her.
the close proximity of the moment made things worse for him- her scent- it invaded his nose, surely he couldn't hold himself back- but he had to, for her.
he shut his eyes tight before stepping back and tried to calm his inner demon down. a deep breath left his lips as he made himself aware of the situation, making sure his fangs didn't pop out not wanting to scare the girl.

his eyes glinted deep red before going back to the normal light brown orbs. and an unusual crave lingered in his mouth.
Haewon quickly released her grip off his hands. "j-just follow me" she stammered and walked off with Renjun following her- this time maintaining his distance.
she took a turn to the right and entered a abandoned room. Renjun entered right after her, seeing the old dusty abandoned room he let a confused "huh"
"why are we here??" he asked looking around the faded walls and broken chairs and tables. "just do as I say" she muttered struggling with the shifting of some huge boxes.
"let me do that princess" he pulled her back and effortlessly started moving the huge boxes. meanwhile at the back, Haewon stood still like a statue, shamelessly staring at the way his back muscles flexed. he looked perfect even from the back.
realisation striked her late but when it did, she slapped herself for looking at him that way. yet her heart pounded erratically against her chest, blood gushing through all her veins at a speed faster than flash himself. it was only a small gesture but why did she feel so erratic about it.
"i- uh y..you- " she tried forming a sentence which she miserably failed at. "stop with that stuttering already" he sighed clearing the boxes out of the way. "what's next?" he asked her but she remained silent. "Haewon?"
he snapped his fingers in front of her face, bringing her out of her trance. "uh yes" she finally spoke something. "I asked what's next" he repeated himself. "oh right.. right move aside" he did what she said.
Haewon walked to the front and found the black rusty door, she placed her hand on the knob twisting it open and pulled open the door revealing a flight of stairs that lead up.
"come on" she interjected climbing the stairs.
the stairs twirled around the pillar leading to somewhere up. they ended at another door, which was familiar for Haewon. without any hesitations she pushed the door and walked out.
