Lilac rolled over and shut off her 7:05 alarm, making sure not to wake Andi. Her roommate was a heavy sleeper, but she was a cranky baby in the mornings and Lilac was still too sleepy to deal with that.
She silenced the tone playing and unplugged her phone from its charger, rolling over in bed and waking up to a truckload of text messages from Sapnap. They had all been sent at around 1 in the morning, so she knew he knew she wouldn't be awake but had sent them anyway. Lilac softly giggled as she read:

Lilac laughed at her simple response to his dramatic complaining, reminding herself to text him back legitimately later. To catch up on what had happened while she was asleep, she logged into Twitter and was greeted with an absolute monster of a thread.
