QueenofSpades joined the game

"Spade?" George inquired, and Lilac grinned. It was the day before his birthday, and he was doing his Minecraft birthday stream today instead of tomorrow. He intended to spend the day filming with his friends, or at least that's what Clay and Sap said they told him. She had no idea if they were actually planning to film, but she knew that part of that plan was to keep George off stream so she could deliver his gift.

Currently, though, George had been birthday-streaming for nearly 5 hours. Funnily enough, Clay and Sap had put together their own birthday room for George, decorating it to the brim. Of course, they also brought some shenanigans to the table, making George roll his eyes a million times over, but he couldn't act like he didn't love it. Once the two of them logged off, though, Lilac tracked George down through watching the stream and did exactly as she planned- she gave him a piece of paper on it with nothing but coordinates, and then immediately left the game. He started to shift at her, but surprise flashed across her face as she disappeared.

"What...?" He asked, holding up the piece of paper.

"-1448 950," He read out to chat, "Are those coords? Did Spade finally learn how to use the coordinate system in Minecraft?" George joked.

QueenofSpades: don't make fun of me :(

"I'll make fun of you if I want to, you can't stop me," George hummed, making his way to the coordinates.

QueenofSpades: need I remind you of the mad verse city clip George

"Okay, fair enough," George said, rolling his eyes, though he was hardly annoyed. She would never let him live that clip down, but to be fair, it was great content.

"Okay, chat, we're here, and-- oh, there's a chest." George ran up to it, reading the sign before opening the chest.

"'So begins your quest, should you accept it'," He read, then furrowed his eyebrows and read it again.

"My quest? Quest for what?" He looked confused for a few moments, but just shook his head. "Whatever. Let's read the paper." George read the first clue aloud, thinking for a bit. He batted ideas back and forth (and getting it wrong a few times) before he figured it out and made it the docks.

"Okay we made it, finally! I see the clue down there, oh my gosh. I thought I'd never find it." George read out the next clue, then closed his eyes.

"Chat, don't tell me," He said, keeping his eyes shut instead of putting them in emote-only. He thought for a moment, mumbling the clue to himself for a second before his eyes popped open.

"Oh, the castle!" He turned around to see it in the distance, flag and all. "What the heck is a rampart, though, Spade?" Lilac laughed as she typed out her answer.

QueenofSpades: it's the wall around a castle, including the upper part that you can walk on

"So smart," George said, shaking his head as he ran to the castle. "I want to be like you when I grow up." Lilac laughed, and she heard Wilbur laughing from down the hall, too. Lilac watched in joy as George went through every clue, taking his time. Some of them he needed chat's help for, and at one point Tubbo joined and gave a clue away, but it was a blast the whole way through.

When George walked through her front door, a huge smile took over his face, and Lilac had one on, too.

"Wait- what is this?" He said, walking further in to admire the banners and read the signs. "'Happy birthday George, I may be a little early but at least I can say I'm one of the first to wish you the best of days :)'. Thank you so much, Spade, this is so nice!" George spent just as much time in Lilac's Minecraft house as he did the boys' birthday room, pretending to sit and enjoy the cake in real time as he talked to her and the rest of his chat. By the time he was ready to sign off, his mouth was tired from smiling.
