AS SOON AS THE group left the hospital, they headed to the house they were staying in, despite Mal telling them that she needed to stay with Oakes a little more.
"Seriously, guys! He's going through something right now. He needs us next to him." Mal retorted angrily, crossing her arms close to her chest.
"We know that ! And we will be there for him, we just have to get rid of Elvira. We can stay the whole day tomorrow in that hospital if you want, if we got rid of that curse !" Timothée replied, his dark expression softening.
"Fine. Let's get this damn thing over with !"
By the time they arrived at the house, it was almost seven o'clock. However, the place was entirely dark. The only light existed was from their flashlights, and a small light bulb at the door entry, that seemed to be flickering.
"Well, this isn't creepy at all." Pilot said nervously, holding Mal's hand. Mal gladly took it, and squeezed it in reassurance while they walked into the place.
They were met by the dark living room, that seemed even more creepy than the house on the outside. Finn swallowed nervously.
"Are you guys sure you want to do this ?" He asked.
"Yeah. Come on, let's get this over with."
"Don't on turn on the lights. Just use your flashlights." Timothée ordered.
"I'm going to go to the attic. The piano is up there." Mal suggested, leaving their side quickly, and heading towards the stairs.
She turned her flashlight on, then climbed the stairs at a slow pace. She glanced around her nervously.
Is this place getting more scary ?
As soon as she reached the attic, she opened the door, and was met by the chilly air that made her skin tingly. She stared around her again, to see the giant piano at the back of the room.
She gulped, and walked towards it as slowly as possible.
Then sat down on the smooth, wooden chair. It had a cold sensation. She sighed and put her fingers on the keys.
Then began to play.
- Downstairs -
"Do you hear that ?" Saoirse asked.
"Yeah. She's playing the song."
"No, not that, it's-"
She was interrupted by a loud thud that made their hearts beat fast. A portrait has fallen down, and was shattered into pieces.
They squinted their eyes to take a good look at the portrait.
It had a picture they knew very well.
A man that was sitting down with wide open eyes, and a solemn expression on his face.
Next to him was a woman who was giving the most creepy smile to the camera, wrapping her arms around him in an uncomfortable hug.
The director. And Elvira.
"T-That wasn't there before." Pilot spoke nervously, obviously in fear.
Just then, they heard a sound coming from the kitchen. They glanced at the direction of the sound, even if they didn't see anything.
"She.." Timothée began.
"She what ? Spit it out, Timothée."
A long moment of silence passed, before they all had the courage to say the words.
"She's letting us know that she's here."
