We were all sitting in my lounge area trying to think of how we were going to execute everything if we went to war with Nali's rogue pack. By we I mean,Roman,Mesalla,Otis,Drew,Sofia,Ria and Ridge.

"We have to call Bryan." I said breaking the silence.

"I agree. We need his fighters." Otis said.

"I will get on it. Its almost four and I have to leave soon. I will use your office okay?" Roman spoke to me.

I nodded and he brushed his lips against mine and walked to my office.

"I could ask for a favour from a friend at the Revolve pack." Ria told us.

"Which friend?" Sofia asked curious.

"Ricci." She said.

"The alpha's son? The one you dated? Boy can you push boundaries. That boy's a pig." Sofia said while scoffing at her deliberately.

"Hey!" Ria exclaimed.

I wondered why,until I realised Drew was tensed. Angry by Sofia's words and looking at Ria with annoyed eyes.

"I had quite a wild life before I met you." She said looking up then at him. "That was only last night!"

The rest of us chuckled helplessly.

It annoyed Drew further making him get up and walk out of the lounge.

"Oh boy!" I said with a grin.

"What did I do now?" Ria questioned herself. "Be right back." She got up to follow him out.

We all shaked our heads.

"Kids." Otis said.

"Oh and you are the grown up here?" I asked him rhetorically. Sofia and Ridge laughed.

"I guess I am the odd one out huh?" Ridge stated.

"You bet man." Otis responded.

"I think we should leave now." Sofia spoke up now leaning into her mate.

"Yeah. We should. I'm beat." Otis said getting up while holding onto her.

I got up. "Oh yeah. Thanks for being here guys. I guess I will be seeing you tomorrow?" I asked

"Ofcourse alpha." Ridge responded.

We all looked at him wondering what he was thinking.

"What?" He asked shrugging.

We all chuckled at him.

When Sofia,Otis and Ridge finally left it was Mesalla and I left in the lounge.

"So." I started. "How do you feel?" I asked

"Fine." He said.

"Are you sure?"

"Like I said,I'm fine."

"Oh." I said finally giving up my attempts to conversate with him.

For now.

"Why do you hate me so much now huh?" I started again.

He scoffed. "You think I hate you now?"

"Well you sure act like it." I retorted.

"Lets just say I have no desire to score another beating from your mate." He said looking those beautiful redish brown eyes into mine. I looked away.

"Everyone makes mistakes Mes. You made one and he did too. But can't we all look past them?" I asked helplessly. "You are a good friend. And I have no desire to lose you over such a trivial issue."
