I don't know why I was so mad at her,I had done worse but I really did not expect her to pay me back in that way. I thought she would reject me or something.

I mean from what I heard if a wolf had found a mate,it was impossible to be with someone else until the death of their mate. I guess I was wrong,the impossible just became extremely possible.

My wolf kept begging me to go back to her. To soothe her and make her feel better. After all,I deserved what I got.

I had to distract myself. So I decided to call my dad.

"Father." I said into the phone.

"Son? Is there a problem?" He asked.

"As a matter of fact there is. One Nali? Well she seems to have put you and I on a list of people to kill." I said into the phone.

I was angry with him and I know he felt it.

Silence.

"Father why didn't you tell me? No no why did you deny your own blood? Your daughter and my sister." I said into the phone still keeping a respectful voice.

"I will be on a flight home tomorrow morning. Its late at night now and I need to sleep on what you have just told me. Goodnight son."

And just like that,he cut the call on me. Oh well.

My father had left for Rome after my mother's death. The death of your mate hits harder than you can imagine. I had to take over the pack earlier than I was supposed to because it started to fall apart due to my father's heartbreak.

I decided to sit in the guest room longer than I had planned. I was so occupied in my thoughts that I had forgotten to keep sniffing for Arlly's presence in the house.

She was gone. I don't know how long but I couldn't feel her. Had our mate bond been stronger I would have felt her the moment she got out of the house. I had to find her. Soon!

I walked out of the house. Not knowing where exactly to go. Before I could go far, I came across Otis.

"You look worried." He said.

"Arlene left the house. I didn't notice when but I am really worried." I told him.

"I'll take the east side. Take west." He said instantly.

We both ran in our human form. I didn't get far when I smelt her nearby. I walked ahead to find her leaning on a tree,naked. I opened my mouth in shock. She had her head leaning on her knees with her hands wrapping her legs right under her knees. She was shivering. I was not surprised because it was cold. It took me a lot to restrain my thoughts because of her nakedness when I carried her straight to the house.

She was silent the whole way there. Eyes looking red and puffy.

"I'm sorry baby. I won't leave you again." I said feeling guilty.

When we got to the house I put Arlly under covers in her bed and went to find Otis' number to tell him I found her. Which I did. I then ran a bath for her and placed her in the tub to even her temperature.

After,she was strong enough to get out of the bath and get herself dressed.

"Thank you." She said making me jump by surprise.

"I didn't think you would leave your room." I said honestly surprised.

She sat in the chair. Quiet for a minute,then started to cry. My wolf hurled in pain not liking to see our mate in suffering. I walked and sat next to her. I wasn't sure whether to hold her when her head fell on my shoulder.
