Roman POV

"Alpha Joe is now a rogue.Together with his family. They ask for permission to join our pack while they are in town." I told Drew,my Beta.

"Well he is a powerful man.You need to be careful to trust him.He has had some serious problems and moreover He is a rogue right now isn't that a little bit suspicious" Drew responded doubtfully.

Honestly,I didn't like the idea of an alpha in my pack as a regular member.Alpha's envisage a lot of respect and I have no intention to respect any one other than my father.

"He must be in trouble and he must need back up.He is harmless Drew.I will give him this chance.Any mistake and his dead" I responded in a deadly serious tone.

The last thing I needed was another problem with former rogues.I hated rogues to bits.Especially after my mother's death. The only reason I ever let Alpha Joe in my territory is because he is nothing but a worthy man.A man of respect and always there to help neighbouring packs when they are in need. That with my pack inclusive.

"Well then.I will show him and his family around now.See you in a few hours."Drew said and with a node walked away.

Arlene POV

Drew the Beta of the pack showed us around.Really I didn't want to be here. Both Drew, the beta and Roman, the alpha never wanted us here. Not that I was surprised by their apparent disapproval of our need to join their pack. They have always been suck jerks.

I met Roman once. When he needed help from my father.Alpha business.I never really cared to find out even despite being the heir to the alpha throne of my pack. But then I was only 15.And Alpha Roman being four years older than me,made him 19 then. Now I am 17 and I am supposed to return to lead my pack after my eighteenth birthday.

I was never supposed to leave with my parents.I just couldn't bare the thought of my mother being away from me.For what felt like was going to be a long time.

So I promised to return right after my eighteenth birthday.I non stop dread that day.

"I have a room for you with the girls at the female pack house" Drew said surging around quicker than I liked.

"Will you slow down!" I complained.

"Well you are under my orders now so you might as well suck it in.You are not an heir around here girl" He spat back at me

What a Jerk.

"Will you try being nicer. You are just a beta and not even your alpha scares me" I told him looking straight into he's eyes.I saw him flinch just for a second because right after he gave me a smirk.

"Idiot!" I spat walking into my apparent new room.

It was nice.I had to admit.Very comfartable looking.I would enjoy being here.Well just because of the bed.I laughed to myself.

Drew looked at me puzzled.

"This is Lenny," he introduced me to a really pretty dark skinned girl.Probably 17 like me.She had this thick curly dark brown hair that just made her beautiful face look like an azalea.A face stuck in a crowd of long curly locks of brown hair.It took me a minute to realise I was studying her face vehemently. She was beautiful with her dark grey eyes almost popping out of her face.It took Her to say hello with her musical voice to bring me back to reality.Yes.yes.that pretty.

"Oh sorry.Hello. Im Arlene Stevens." I responded breathlessly.

It was a fisrt for me to meet a dark skinned werewolf.A much beautiful one at that.

"I'm Lenny Martins" she smiled back, her smile really friendly and warm.

That afternoon Lenny and I spoke about each other.Instantly clicking and enjoying each others company.

She had been a rogue too.But clearly the alpha couldn't resist her beauty.Because from the look on her face she seemed really into the alpha.More like she really liked Roman.Such a shame she was not his mate I thought to myself sadly.

"Lenny.I need to speak with you now" Roman demanded that evening.

I just rolled my eyes.Since our last encounter. He was nothing but a lump of jerkshit in my eyes.So arrogant.

But I did wonder what he had with Lenny.
