"I think it's a great idea. We haven't gone to the ice rink in a while." Rose says.

They all agreed and then left Luka and Juleka's house. All their friends were over for band rehearsal and decided to spend more time together.

"This isn't fair." Marinette pouted.

"And why is that?" Luka snickered.

"Bikes are faster than skateboards; you're going to win."

Alix zoomed by on her skates, "I can beat both of you."

They giggled and then chased their pink-headed friend through the streets of Paris.

"Hey, Alix," Marinette whispers as she catches up.

The two girls were ahead of everyone else. After school that day, everyone going to Luka's decided to ride their bikes/skate there together.

"What's up, Bug?" Alix asked.

A little over a year ago, Marinette Dupain-Cheng became the next Guardian of the Miraculous and the last ever (so they thought) Miracle Box. However, she always remembered something that Bunnyx told her when they first met:

"That's why you chose me, Mini-bug. Because I know how to keep a secret."

Marinette had been going through so much at the time and decided to tell Alix her secret. There weren't many people who were still too fond of her at the time, but with Alix's help, she could make it up to her friends. There was also another perk to being a guardian, there were unique jewels that she could give to people, and they would not be able to get akumatized. Ladybug has given some gems to Chat Noir, Alix, and Master Fu. It was a great thing and something to keep the young hero's mind at ease due to Chat Blanc.

"I was in the clear earlier, right?" Marinette asked.

"All good. I ran off and told people we hid together." Alix winked.

Alix began to cover for Marinette at school when she would have to transform into Ladybug. They both knew that there were people at school who would do anything to find out Ladybug and Chat Noir's identities.

"Thanks." Marinette smiled.

While looking at Alix and ensuring no cars were coming on the next street, Marinette didn't see the hole in the ground in front of her.

"Ah!"

Someone quickly got in front of her and ensured Marinette didn't fall.

"Hehe. Thanks, Adrien." She giggled.

Adrien chuckled, "Clumsy girl... I think I heard something click on your board."

He picked up the board, and they saw that one of the wheels got unhinged.

"Well, that's just great." She sighed.

Marinette grabbed her board, and Adrien picked him up from the ground, "We're almost there. I'll walk with you." He said.

"You don't have to. It's not too far."

Luka pulled up next to them, "Hey, what happened to your board?"

"I wasn't looking and ran into a hole."

Luka analyzed the two walkings and felt a small pit of jealousy, "Hm. You can ride on the bike."

"It's not too far; I can walk with Mari." Adrien smiled.

Luka smiled back, "Sure, I'll see you guys in there."

He rode away, and the two silently walked for a minute.

"What the?" Adrien gasped.

Plagg scrambled in Adrien's pocket, looking for camembert, and dropped Marinette's lucky charm.
